The update is objectively bittersweet
The announcement of BOB2 is excellent and a great news and if we add that of characters that may appear (Asami Suki Katara ...) it can be a very very interesting game and a worthy competition for 4 elements trainer
but it’s just VERY GREEN it’s taken out too soon
If in this update the Halloween event of SU was over and at the beginning of the year, take out this game with more content and among other things the intro finished and not only with a few pencil sketches and a couple more scenes with Korra it would have been much better received
even so knowing that they are working on another game apart from SU makes me very happy

In September we told everyone there will be no further roadmap for 2019. Since that post we have released the following:
Sept: SU update, free for everyone!
Oct: Halloween Event
Dec: Bend or Break 2
Now as you can see we provided an SU update 2 months in a row! Not on our typical release schedule!!! This freed up time to work on something fun. If we were to go by our typical schedule there would have been ZERO update in December. So that is how this isn't taking away from SU.
As for BoB update schedule, it's a small game headed to Newgrounds with a Patreon exclusive build (more scenes). The next update to it should be it's completion.

I have every right to question this considering I pay for it. I couldn't care less how many other games there are out there. That has nothing to do with this.
They lost a coder who was working on an entirely different version of SU. That doesn't affect this iteration of SU. All that means is the rebuild will take longer.
"Poor guy" you say that as if Sunset is some guy being forced to do this against his will lol. I wouldn't consider an artist getting to do what they love for a living as a "poor guy". He may be overworked, sure but being a one man show was his choice. And you can't even really say that he's a one man show anymore because for a while now and up until recently he wasn't and they're getting a replacement for the coder soon. So no that excuse really doesn't carry any weight anymore.
And workload doesn't even really have anything to do with why some people are upset by this. It's obvious he's put good work into BoB2. The issue is people were expecting SU, because why wouldn't they?

Well Sept was a scheduled release, so 2 months later would have been Nov. We provided the same amount of SU content, and some little bonus. Some people don't see that.
SU is fun, but it's a grind as well. We need to expand as a studio and get to use what we learned.

Well I for one am SUPER excited about BoB2. The start is really promising, I hope Korra gets the time she deserves to be properly and thoroughly broken this time around. I love a good trainer that takes its time and doesn't just transform the heroine into a willing slut with the snap of a finger. Korra in particular is perfect for a trainee who stays defiant and a tad naive.
The art is gorgeous and I even enjoy the premise of the story. I can only hope it'll be updated to the new tech as well in time.

Vixen update: Wasn't finished. It was supposed to focus on Vixen and half of her content was missing. Hell, SR7 was working on Supergirl instead of Vixen on stream before it hit. Sure, there was some stuff involving some other characters but it wasn't focused on the damn character it was supposed to be about.
September: Was broken. Parts of it are still broken. Oh, and you didn't finish Galatea cell content so not only was it broken but it was half-assed finished. Instead, we got broken Supergirl content that needed to be fixed. Some half-assed Galatea content that's supposed to be fixed but isn't, and as far I can tell you aren't going back to finish Galatea's cell content anytime soon. Instead, we got some story stuff involving Maxima. One sex scene with her, and some scenes with random characters who are just there.
Halloween: It was a nice surprise but it wasn't finished. Again. Half of it's still missing.
That's the issue a lot of people have. After Batgirl you guys seemed to have stopped finishing what you're supposed to be focusing on. Vixen wasn't finished and not only was it not finished, but it was also delayed a week. You finished Supergirl's part of her update but not Galatea. Then you released this and it's half-assed as well. It's a couple of story scenes, some dancing, and some stuff with Azula in the library. It's a tech demo that you're charging people to play.
I hate to break it to you but most people don't care about the original project: do not steal, or BoB2. They want you to focus on SU so they're going to get pissed off when you release broken updates. Or a new project without letting people know that it's a new project. If you'd straight off the bat said that you were going to release something in December which isn't related to SU people probably wouldn't be mad. Instead, they thought Fire and Ice were coming as a surprise for Christmas.

Has someone a full save for Slot 2 or Slot 3? My saves are on Slot 1 and i don't really want to overwrite it.
The fact they're charging for it is the shitty part. It's barebones as fuck. If they'd released it as a free demo to wet people's appetites after saying straight out that they were going to be releasing something that wasn't SU related it would have gone down better. It doesn't help that a lot of the stuff that is in it seems to have been from the bonus packs that were already released over the past year.

You're the only complaint we have had to deal with on both Patreon and F95. Sure there are concerns about time management, which are warrented. As for updates, you do realize that we're one of the only top devs that have updated our game 2x and released a side project all in 4 months. Not to mention we fired our programmer 2 months into development of BoB2 and SR7 made this game starting in December! I'm sorry you don't think we are living up to our potential, but honestly 2 SU updates, a new game all in the span of 4 months is damn impressive by ONE GUY! Thanks for taking the time to issue your concerns on Patreon and then on here.

Forgive them for they're know not what they speak of. Yes even I as a Gunsmokegames fanboy can say, "Hey I have issues with some of the directions you've taken/how I personally wanted things to go." (Personally I wanted all the GS and Bordello scenes done with so we can move on to like making the heroines conciously and willingly do pornos/nude calendars!) But I will say what you provide is still in the top tier for me. Im very excited for BoB2 and I know you need something slightly different to do since SU is going to take at least 3-5(?) more years.

Considering most of the updates past Batgirl has added a bunch of random stuff instead of focusing on what they were supposed to because SR got bored? Yeah, I'd say time management was a problem. Adding Ravager and Jinx made sense since Vixen was the sole focus of that update but the Vixen stuff should have been finished before he started working on Supergirl. Plus I'm still wondering why he decided to add those two instead of finished Shiva. Adding Maxima, a bunch of story scenes, one sex scene, two random npc's, two Slade scenes, instead of finishing Galatea who should have been the secondary focus of the Supergirl update? It's definitely a problem.
The Halloween update was nice but it wasn't finished, and it's going to be finished two months after it's released? If it is finished. I hate to say it but considering the current track record, I'm really doubting it will be.
