Yes, though keep in mind the game uses Windows registry to save itself. You can and probably will fuck stuff up if you go dabble in there. There's also the fact the game shouldn't even work, according to the dude(s) who made the Unity template SR7 uses, so that's there too
That makes me real fuckin' nervous about actually trying to play any more of this, wow.

Most anti-cheat junk that runs on kernel level is way worse than this. The game can be janky and just stay away from fiddling with your save and you'll be ok (and don't try to get a save from some1 else, cause registry). Just join the whine train and complain that SR7 takes months to deliver stuff he promised last year

Alright. Thanks for the explanation. Tbh I won't complain too much, I just wanted to see what new stuff there was. By now I know the trend of western porn game development so I'll play something interesting to completion, put it down, and pick it back up years later. Same thing I did with Breeders of the Nephelym and Corrupted Kingdoms, been a good around 3-4 years since I touched Breeders, 2-3 since I touched CK. And apparently the former's finished and the latter has tons more content now.

But by comparison it does feel like not a lot got added since I played SU. I'm still particularly curious as I was back then on what they plan to do with the powers listing under Lex's stats. If he gains powers in some way that help him combat the Justice League down the line in the story that'd be an interesting way to take the plot. I dunno what they're planning but the logical conclusion would be that Lex wins in the end.

Okay, This game isn't going to reformat or crash your computer. Even though the save file is in the registry it's not going to do anything to your PC either, and changing the values for that save won't mess with your windows at all (it's its own entry in the registry). If you get stupid and start messing with reg keys outside of this save it's possible you f up your install, but that really has nothing to do with this game and more that a person that does that and doesn't know what they're doing is stupid to begin with.

The game is janky, the framework it's built on in unity was never intended for a game of this scale, what that means for you is that this game takes way longer to update than it should because the framework sucks it creates irritating bugs and overall just leads to us getting less content than we would like. That takes the form of people calling the dev names or whatever in this thread... that's about the extent of it.

I myself am aware that if that was a risk it would have already happened long ago, but will avoid playing the game for 2 related reasons:
1- can't copy the save after changing computers.
2- even if it isn't doing anything bad, I don't trust this game enough to let it mess with the registry. especially since, as you yourself mentioned after, this uses a very bugged framework.

buggy framework or not, it’s not going to fuck up your registry. The reason you can fuck things up is if you open regedit and start changing things that you don’t know what they do, you’re going to maybe have a bad day. Buggy or not, this framework is only adding and editing its own entries. To change things it shouldn’t it would have to be intentionally malicious, not just buggy. It would have to specify specific keys that would then break windows. That’s just not going to happen.

The risk is solely a human browsing around and messing with things, it’s just not something that happens programmatically unless it’s on purpose.

also, it’s definitely possible to copy out a save as a reg file and transfer it, it’s just mildly complicated

According to your post you don't remember the prison, right.
Well the prison was added before even one girl get a sex scene in the cells.
So almost everything should be new to you.
So far only Catwoman,Queen Bee and Morgaine le Fey are missing major content.+amazon event of course.
And MB stuff too.Probably some scenes in the cells too.
