All right, so the content in this Themyscira "beta" was actually decent Unfortunately as me and a lot of others predicted, this update did NOT in fact complete the Themyscira event like they said it would.
If every update was consistently of the same quality as this, and if they would actually keep their promises, I would consider giving money for their Patreon, sadly I have this gut feeling that this was a rare once in a long time W, and that the subsequent updates in 2024 will go back to being anywhere from disappointing to complete garbage.

really good update, wouldn't be disappointed if it wasn't that they said it was gonna finish the event. I like the ren'py transition for a temporary build of the event, it's faster for them to deliver because they don't have to deal with the Unity build and it gives us more content and even in time for the release. My only hope is that when they say the event is gonna be ported and completed this April it actually happens, and not another surprise ren'py build, it doesn't even work if they gave us a completed build in ren'py because at that point why should I want to replay it on the base game then?

Well they are hyping Themyscira from more than 2 years.
The original idea was to finish the whole island in one or max two updates,back in August-November 2022.
That definitely didn't age well.

Another update that passed and it shows once again what a disaster the Themyscira event is and pretty much is Sunset's own doing. Like how you fuck such a simple idea of a Themyscira event? People just wanted to fuck Hippolyta and just 2 or 3 famous amazons like Artemis and Nubia...that was it but nooo in Sunset's classic way he needed to add characters that nobody wanted (Circe and the Avatar characters) like he always do and the issue with this is that he focus his time and resources on those characters and then he claims fatigue and burnout for working on those characters but its like my dude nobody wanted that in the first place? And he uses it as an excuse to shift to another "event" like the Gotham one where he proceeds to do the same.
