The reason we chose to go with a new project rather than BoB2 was due to use wanting to develop a pipeline for these small games. BoB2 is sitting in limbo because we didn't have the resources or idea of how we could pause SU and do it. So, I suggested that if we were to make this pivot we do so from scratch in order to not miss anything. Think of it this way, you want to build a house. So you buy a 1/3 completed house and finish it. Now you go to build another house and you have no idea how and how long the initial 1/3 took. I wanted to make sure we understood the requirements from initial thought to final completion.

I would expect a BoB experience with expanded mechanics and more characters. Short, fun, sexy, and replayable. BoB in total took about 6 weeks to make. This is taking probably a total of 6-8 months start to finish (I'm gunning for 6), and there is a lot of room to be more efficient in that.

Why you don't go for a franchise that don't have any established porn game like Ben 10 . I don't know but I think you can capitalized more market from that franchise

If we were to worry about who called dibs on whatever content we wouldn't be able to do parody at all. But it doesn't work like that, we will be delivering a totally different experience. It may have the same characters but for one ours will be small, fun, sexy, and re-playable, and not an ongoing large project. Plus I'm biased and our art is fucking amazing.

Some of your art is incredible, in fact, I hope if this idea of " small games" works out, we'll see a Star Wars trainer. Seeing the different Ashoka arts that have come out, it would be incredible (and it could move away from the Marvel/DC dynamic).

It's not about calling dibs it's about exploring more marketability and in return stability of avoiding competition. Idk it's sound like a smart move imo.

It was from a group I call "The Justice League of Misinformation", one proudly exclaimed that Batgirls tongue is a signature of AI!! Well we released a screenshot of the 100+ layers psd, to disprove that. Do you think they every said it wasn't AI? Nope.

SR7 has to tone down his art for SU, like he has to try and be worse. Go look at the images for EVO so far. You haven't seen his quality yet. You have been given a taste and many think it's AI. The guy is just fucking good.

I understand where you're coming from. But many people don't subscribe to just a single creator, they subscribe to a bunch. There is lots of TAM (I'm sure you know this acronym) in the parody space, and avoiding certain IPs isn't necessary, in my opinion. Also we are going to hit a market both Oni and Ron Chon haven't, and that is web.

Also I believe you shouldn't avoid competition, you engage it, then innovate to become the leader in that space. I don't think avoiding competition is a good strategy. So look for us to tackle what we want, regardless of what is already out there.

SR7 has to tone down his art for SU, like he has to try and be worse. Go look at the images for EVO so far. You haven't seen his quality yet. You have been given a taste and many think it's AI. The guy is just fucking good.

I know you're defending sunset and all that but c'mon man SU art isn't bad, idk but recently I feel like you're dismissing and just talking lots of shit out of SU and its development. Feels weird seeing the own devs saying the art from their game is bad, honestly as a patreon that has seen every EVO image released it doesn't seem like a world of difference from SU, put some respect into your own game lol it has lots of great images where sunset shows really good skill.

The words I'm telling you words directly from SR7. His art has always been great, but he will even echo that he has to hold back for SU because he has to mimic his skill level from 10 years ago. Those are his own words. And you can see the uproar from this thread when he shows his improvement, as the Raven from super babes shows.

In my opinion I'm putting a lot of respect on his work. To say his new stuff is light years ahead of his old, isn't a knock. My statement comes from not just being a fan, but his best friend for 25+ years. His new stuff is fucking amazing, and in my opinion isn't in the same league as any of his older stuff.

I've been searching over this thread for a while after having been gone for a long time. I apologize if this has been answered already. My understanding is that the PC version is being converted to renpy, and will have all of the content including Gotham and Themy all in one game. Also, the android will soon be caught up to the pc version, it just needs the bordello added, but it won't contain Gotham and Themy - they will continue to be standalone. Do I have that right?

As for your last statement I hope to see the new art as I said in gotham and them we can see his newer skill as compared to some old SU content, if its even better than the new stuff in SU then I'm a patreon for life.

I agree, and you're picking up on some subtle tells. For one SU's art is predicated on speed (the first 3 years SR7 was working on being fast). Go watch an art stream and you will see how much it's just a flow for him. For him to mimic exactly, is going to take more time, so what you're observing is correct. He's trying to keep his speed, while doing his best to hold back. His shading, line art, palette selection, anatomy, and faces have all improved drastically. I will ask you this, what if SR7 took 3 hours instead of 2 to do a portrait? What happens when a BG takes 6-8 hrs instead of 1-2? I will give you an example.

Back in 2015 SR7 did this Dr.Doom image. This image took over 12 hrs of work.

I don't think we need to say how much he has improved in 10 years now. It's too obvious.
