Just played your game. Interesting start, renders are good and story has a good potential. But there's few things I don't really enjoy.
Let me start with this screen:
MC is saying that he got infected. I guess it's some kind of mistype and he means something else.
The same thing with names. As long as we're not choosing them you type them in text and not using variables. And when you're typing you forgot to type it from the capital letter sometimes. Most of the times it's clear but when waitress is called "cat", well... it made me wander why mentally challenged girl call her that furry animal.
There's annoying thing with clicking (or pressing the button) with every render. That's excessive, we don't need to press space (or click) every time the girl blink or scene changes, pause (I mean, waiting for a click) in VN exist for reading purposes only. So after some time I began clicking two of three times for each screen waiting for the next string of text (and missing some text in the process). Click for every render is really annoying, please, do something about it.
And the story thing I don't get. For two years MC has been living a life of... stalker (as we call it in Russia after the famous novel by Strugatskie brothers, even from Soviet times), meaning he's spending time wandering in dangerous zones in search of valuable things. He's risking his life every day for two years and it goes without saying he lost some people he knew during that time. And it's hinted he lost his fiance after the outbreak. And the way Anais saying it they are not just fallen apart. But what we see in the run for medicine when MC lost his two friends... it's the first run of three amateurs that went to red zone for the first time in their life. And after that, when MC run for his life and just fall on his knees on the street - it's behavior of a man who lived the sheltered life and faced the real danger for the first time. I can believe in that if it was during the First Wave (by the way, how many waves is there at all?), like in the first month of the outbreak, but after two years it looks like the scene from bad Hollywood movie, something like bad Asylum movie.
Another thing, a minor moment actually. Rodrigues wants to show MC that he's wrong, he wants to make him suffer. But for what? I don't get it. Rodrigues hired a group to collect goods. No payment in advance. Group failed, most of the group was killed, their car was destroyed. Goods were destroyed too. Not all of it though. But that was a risk from the start, those group who were sent before cannot get goods at all. So for Rodrigues the situation is not changed. But he wants the only survivor of this group to suffer. That survivor already lost his group and car, lost the more or less safe way to earn money. What's his fault? Why he needs to suffer? What he did wrong?
But beside that, story is looking good, it's interesting setting (and yeah, I dig what you're saying about football, Russians feel the same way), and I hope to see what's next for MC, his girls, Ethan and other characters.
