It's definitely not abandoned. Development was kind of on hold for a few months, due to various reasons, but as noted on Patreon, we're now back at it again.
Good to hear - would be a shame and crime not to go on with that exciting game!

If you followed the thread along and have more than a goldfish's memory you might recall mention of dead graphic cards needing replacement and interim passed on the other project. I'm with you on the fact that I would prefer ST to AI generated games, but the dev themselves is free to do what they want especially while they can't work on their other engagements.
