If you mean the one in the barn, I couldn't find a way to fail the scene other than saying the wrong answers to her questions beforehand. If you're stuck in the scene itself, for some reason the UI doesn't scale to the window size of the game (or didn't in the unstable version), but that's easy to fix by just maximizing the window or switching the game to fullscreen.
