thanks dude1. Go to the game folder, then go to the Ren'Py folder, click on the common folder
2. Find the "00console" RPY file (not RPYC) and click it
3. Click find or control F, and type False
4. Click next 3 times until you find
# If true, the console is enabled despite the config. developer being False.
config.console = False
5. Change config.console = False to True
and save
6. Start/ load game. now able to open console command using "shift o" (I believe right key)
Or you can replace steps 1 through 5 with unren who does it all for you automatically.1. Go to the game folder, then go to the Ren'Py folder, click on the common folder

Some devs out there put anti-cheat or protection on games and can't use URM/ or UnRen.batOr you can replace steps 1 through 5 with Unren who does it all for you automatically.
Yeah, but steps 1-5 are just changing one word in a text file. There are a lot of steps to using Unren too, starting with having to find and download it. Why use a third party program for something that simple? You literally just have to change one word, the coding equivalent of flipping a switch.Or you can replace steps 1 through 5 with unren who does it all for you automatically.
1. you download unren once, then use it infinite times for all the renpy gamesYeah, but steps 1-5 are just changing one word in a text file. yes. some devs hate their players. Some devs out there put anti-cheat or protection on games and can't use URM/ or UnRen.bat
No, but you do have to keep track of it, and make copies of it, and learn how it works, and so on.1. you download unren once, then use it infinite times for all the renpy games
2. its just way faster and smoother to copy paste unren into the folder, double click it. and then follow on screen instructions. which are just:
[4] [enter]
than it is to, every time, look up exactly what variable you need to find and change. because its not something that people easily remember. compared to "now copy unren to the folder and double click then follow on screen instructions"
> keep track of itNo, but you do have to keep track of it, and make copies of it, and learn how it works, and so on.
When you have over 150tb of hard drives, finding a tiny file can sometimes be a challenge, and doing anything is harder than doing nothing at all. lol> keep track of it
super easy. barely an inconvenience
It isn't the size of your HDDs, it's how you use them. When you have over 150tb of hard drives, finding a tiny file can sometimes be a challenge, and doing anything is harder than doing nothing at all. lol
But like I said, you do you. I have less than no interest in using a program do do something I can do in a few sec. This is an example of Occam's razor, the simplest solution is usually the best. The more things the more things you introduce into the situation, the more things can go wrong.
My folder for this site has over 1600 files/folders (and that is ignoring my F95 archive for backups and old files and any sub folders). That is one folder, on one drive. I have almost 20 drives, on two computers. It is very organized, but who wants to mess with other files and programs that are unnecessary? It isn't the size of your HDDs, it's how you use them.
Just organize your shit better
