Maybe because we genuinely don't know what's going on, or are asking if it's really abandoned or not? People on here don't join discord servers left and right just find out what the devs/news is going on. If you truly wanted to own your space on the thread, you should've been more active on the images themselves, perhaps.

And after looking at the comments, yes the dev has confirmed the game is abandoned. Looking at the discord the dev is apparently holding a poll for a remake/reimagined version of Space Adventures? Which is also a remake of Space Cadettes...

Really though, this will be the third time of a Ren'Py game you're pursuing that barely got past a single version/update. I don't think I have to be the one to tell ya but if you can't push to make a full-fledged game, let alone a short story, why bother with this?

You're not wrong, can't argue with any of your points. They only reason I posted a discord link was because someone posted images from discord, and someone else asked for a link. I was going to keep everything between a select few friends until I was sure if I was coming back. I knew the backlash I would get, and honestly, I deserve it. I have lost friends because of my choices. I let a ton of people down, and the friends I lost won't even respond to messages. I don't blame them though. I know if I make a return to developing, there will be a lot of people who don't trust me and will not follow me and that will be warranted. TBH I thought about changing my name completely, if I came back, but I also know that people will know it's me right away after playing a game.

Truth is I do like making these stories and renders. I have tried to leave several times and I come back to it. I can't deny that it is something inside me that loves it. So I am thinking about everything.

Yes I screwed up with space stories and remake after remake. I do have a story I am working on that is a little different. But I also have a real life story I am working on. I want to make the right decision so I am taking it slow. Thanks for the message.

And this is the other story I am working on with the same model. I am calling it Eagle 5. It is another attempt at a space story. In this her name is Stella Erin and she is a new cadet on the space fleet. I know you guys are going to ask "why not just continue the ones I already started?". Well, I am not happy with them for one. And leaving and coming back changed how I wanted to do it. and which model I wanted to use. But this one is the best model I have and her look is so close to the character I am designing her after, which makes this one perfect.
