Cause they pretty much just drop you in one level with one enemy and once you reach the "finish line" it's just an endless walk without enemies spawning
I totally get your pointA few years ago I loved their games but today I think it's too expensive for now new ideas, progressions and techniques. Meanwhile came up many good new developers with fresh ideas and good skills. And I'm still waiting for a monsters cocksleeve raping sidescrollers/platformers I don't have to play the victim. Am I the only one who'd love to see a replacement the male protagonist from Eroico with an ogre, ape, TRex, horse, minotaur, orc or something else? WIPs like Morcreas Universalis Axis are a great idea.
But I understand if developers say "Hey, it's too risky, I want to pay my bills and I don't know if the time is valuable.".

Funny thing is, that's exactly what's happening.I get that everyone loves his games but... he just keeps making the same exact game over and over with just a different skin. It's like call of duty. Nothing really changes, just the look. A real shame that this looks the EXACT same as his previous games. It's kinda hard to get excited about it. He needs to change up the animations by providing different angles or just more of them or something creatively different. So tired of every enemy just having an A and B animation with each animation looking the exact same as the previous game with the same type of body. It's just boring and lazy at this point.
He could also do something different with the gameplay because it is too simplistic and boring. Add more struggle elements or something. Just add to it.
