Ah one of the oldest genres that got me into hgames. Lets be honest, this type of game frankly hasn't aged well and I'd hope they'd try something a little more interesting in 2024. Doesn't seem to be the case here.

Even if it's barebones, I hope they add color customization like with Kung-Fu Girl, if only to make her look like Samus.

Unfortunately, the autor announced that this time there will not be color customization, which will cost too much effort.

That is to be expected.

Even the flash games by Koooon were somewhat easy to mod, because sprite based games are notoriously easy to mod in general, because often the single sprites have names like "arm.png" n' shit and by simply overriding every single sprite with another image or telling the code to load another image like "modded-arm.png" instead, you could change the appearance of the entire game.

With unity this should be a lot easier.

So... he's making the same exact game pretty much, very similar to his old ones but this time is removing a simple feature such as coloring the girl because it's... too much effort? Seriously? That is incredibly lazy. I really don't get why people continue to act like this guy is a god. His stuff is repetitive and boring and is now removing something that has been in a previous game that people clearly loved.

It sounds like modders will have to provide content with this game, Koonsoft taking the Bethesda route of letting modders finish your game or adding features removed from previous games, or just adding more content overall. Sad.
