If I recall correctly, I played this early on, and didn't like it too much. Well, I tried again, and this time kinda caught up in it. I think I played until the end section of content; unlocking that last sector and as far as I can tell haven gotten most CG, so seems as good a place as any to take a break.
The visuals are great. The gameplay overall is neat, though the odd interaction can be a bit clunky (opening multiple boxes, checking bot parts, moving bots in/out of storage, those small niggles) but nothing egregious. Upgrading the ship feels nice, getting rich is always good. And making progress with the girls and the girls' uniforms naturally always is good fun. Everything ran smooth and I don't think I had any bug or anything of that sort.
My main disappointed was probably the lack of writing and character interaction. Everything feels very perfunctory - didn't care about the story, but that's no big deal; however, the eroticism of most scenes is kinda underminded when everything is one tone, very short, and basically just some form of "gruntgrunt are we done? yeah okay good". That also meant the crew felt a bit bland; not enough good banter or anything, though there's the odd moment here or there that's a bit more involved.
A smaller one that always bugs me about sandbox(-like) games is that often it doesn't feel like advances in character/relationship/"erotic" development are reflected by older scenes. So everything old stays static and uninteresting instead of ie showcasing how a character has become more lewd or used to it or anything of that sort ... generally I'd like things to be a more dynamic, but I understand that that's a tough and tedious ask and in the end it's not that big a deal.
Lastly, sorta conceptually, about the quests/missions/etc, I kinda wished more of them were more integrated with the different systems. Some are, like when you got to build that infiltration bot, it combines a few different things. But often it's just "we suddenly need this thing!", then you cruise there, and buy it, and that's it. Maybe some (more) times some of the resources should have been needed, or some character might have wanted some specific bot designed for them before agreeing, or maybe something with the crew management ... stuff like that, I think the idea is clear.
I'm sure there were a few more things I liked or didn't along the way but not like I took notes, so that's what I remember atm ^^;
Anyway, good stuff. Looking forward to the rest.
