Weird. You did try to go to the precursor site first right? That's what prompts the MC to go look for a hacker. Then you go to Shady and she will tell you about Nimhe. Then you go find her there at night and she tells you about the Argus, which Shady then sells you. I believe you have to wait a day.I am not sure what you mean by that... All she sells is useless crap at too high price

If you did all that and it still doesn't show up, it might be a bug. And yes her prices are high but you'll be going to her a lot, for everything. You should also grab those candles for T'ris and start stocking up, that's the only place you can get them.
I wouldn't know how to do it if there was a way, someone else is going to have to step in for you there. That is the place I mentioned that triggers Nimhe though. Shady is supposed to have that Argus, she has one every day even after you buy it from that point going forward even though you only need one. So it looks to me like it's bugged. What is the precursor? If you mean the junkyard at 50% engines then this is what I get when I go there:
Then the MC says that he had an error in navigation and F's off.... And nothing else happens. I've done this dialogue like 70 times now trying to figure out if I've done something wrong...
Anything I can do to unbug it? A console command or something to make the quest progress? Like get something flagged?
Did you try to go to Nimhe after visiting the junkyard and seeing the above screen? Try talking to the barkeeper and Shady as well, one of them was talking about Nimhe being fit for that job. Nimhe should agree to work for you if you get the Argus and pay her some hefty sum (50k?).What is the precursor? If you mean the junkyard at 50% engines then this is what I get when I go there:

After going to that junkyard, talk to the barkeep, they point you to Nimhe, she has some demands to get on board, talk to shady, after getting the thing from Shady, talk to Nimhe. All of these hints should be in the quest log.I wouldn't know how to do it if there was a way, someone else is going to have to step in for you there. I've had it happen that things that were supposed to trigger took a few days but I'm guessing it's been a while already for you. Try buying something, anything. See if the inventory updates, just a wild shot.
Edit: Also, the comment below is correct. You need to talk to the barkeeper but I'm thinking you already did that as well. Worth a try though.
If what I suggested doesn't work, can you pull up your quest log and take a screenshot of that? If it has a hint button, could you press it and screenshot that? That should help us most to figure out what you are missing.Weird. You did try to go to the precursor site first right? That's what prompts the MC to go look for a hacker. It's not Shady but the barkeeper girl that tells MC about his new crew memberWeird. You did try to go to the precursor site first right? That's what prompts the MC to go look for a hacker. MC also needs a reputation of atleast 3 for Nhme to even consider joining himDid you try to go to Nimhe after visiting the junkyard and seeing the above screen? Thanks for the suggestions and feedback.I'm not going to tell you how to run your business but I'd wait until you finish the updates you have planned. After you finish the main game, I'd work on DLC and sell those separately but the main game has to gather a crowd for that to work.
The beginning of the game starts out really good. You work to progress and fit your ship, gather your crew, corrupt the girls etc. The moment you jump through the jump gate, things slow down. In Arellarti, there are things to do but the Dome is not open for example, which will probably be in the next update from what I read. This is good because it brings content to that next system, bringing it in line with the first in terms of content.
Then we move on to Xenos and things slow down even further. There is only a station, an asteroid field the library from which you get your one and only mission if I remember correctly. There's no bar, nowhere to go on the station, no people to meet etc. The system is pretty barren. After you do the Krell update, I'd focus on Xenos a bit and go on to all the other systems after that and fill them with a bit of content, bringing them in line with the first. Speaking of Xenos though, I love the music in that system, especially when going from flying around to engaging in combat, awesome!
I haven't made it past Xenos yet so I can't comment on the other systems, but that is my observation so far from what I've played. So in short, I'd work on it another year or so and fill the game with content, but leaving the end as is. After that, I'd do expansions that expand beyond that ending.
If you manage to hook people on Steam, they will be hungry for the expansions. I wouldn't put the game out in this state though on Steam. Once you know the ending, it's hard to go back with the same suspense and play the content you added in between. I'm actually considering not going further than Xenos because I don't want to know the end before I experience the rest.
All this is just some food for thought of course, some feedback. I've played hundreds of these AVN games and there is only one that offered me as much content and playtime as this and that is Being a DIK. As I said in m last post, you got a good game going here, I wouldn't cut it short because it has great potential. I'd personally work on it another year or even two before going big on Steam. I have no doubt that if you went down that route, this game could easily compare to the best of them.
I assume you do not use a mod like URM, these are know to fuck up python data structure (quests, ...) in my game and are _not_ compatible.Shady does not talk at all. I've already spoken to the shopkeeper like a dozen times alternating with the junkyard... I will try again, but I do not hold my breath here =/
If you do not use a mod and you bought it it is 100% in your inventory. Looks like a little box.Is there some kinda bug, with this? In the beginning, I bought the map. The quest says to give it to Tr'is, but it doesn't show up in my inventory. And I definitely bought it, because it's no longer available for purchase. Anyone else have this issue? I wanted to go through the story, but should I just skip to day 5?
Sorry, I deleted my post because I didn't think I'd get a response this fast. It turns out I mistook it for one of those ship modules in my inventory, so I was overlooking it the whole time. My bad.If you do not use a mod and you bought it it is 100% in your inventory. Looks like a little box.
If you gave it to T'Ris, you need to wait a day for the response.
If you you use a mod, please use a clean install without mod.
Please post your save for analysis if you still think there's sth wrong.
Glad you enjoyed the game.Astonishing game, congrats to the dev for making one of the best games on the site. Played through most of the content but my absolute favourite was the pet training quest for T'ris, are there any plans on expanding it with, for example, the advanced training tickets and the krell shaver? That said hope to see you one day on Steam!
Yeah I don't know the exact guidelines Steam has, you should take a look at a game called Together BnB. They released the game normally on Steam and use a patch to add the lewd stuff. Might be something you could do for the more edgy stuff.- I don't know whether steam will allow some of the more edgy krell stuff
That makes sense. It's just that there is a lot of waiting involved in that system. 2 days when you arrive, another 2 days if you side with YR, and another 2 days to analyze the data, then another day before the conversation starts about how to get into Quthor. So you're kinda stuck there with little to do if you're like me and do everything you can before going to a new system. Leaving to do other things doesn't make much sense because the travel time alone would eat up those two days.As to the system Xenos is indeed a bit sterile (this was partly on purpose, as it should convey the "purist" and isolationist attitude of the Vorons). In Quthor it will pick, up again with more site interactions and story.
Nice.In V1.50 (Adventures in Krell Space) The Dome will be added
In 1.60 (The Drengar Conspiracy) Quthor Station Interior will be added.
And, for what its worth: I enjoyed making my ending & seeing the end credits cutscene
Yeah NTR is very controversial depending on how it is implemented. Best way to do it would be to make it optional imo, that way everyone is happy and you avoid the headache.Glad you enjoyed the game.
As it wasn't strictly necessary for the main story arc, I put T'Ris pet training aside for a while (also had to think about to have training content which is not NTR).
That bein said, I'll probably add some in the Krell focused expansion 1.60
