You have a percentage (and if below 100 and your tech skill is high enough) a wrench next to each bot part (cortex, head, torso, arms, legs).

I think I've found a bug.
At one point early on, you set up a camera in the lab, and then you have to watch it from your PC to find the little bot working on a type-J bot shell.
I kept watching the camera until it was 23:00, then watched a Galaxina episode, and that put me at 0:00 time. I didn't automatically go to sleep, and I could move around and fly to other places. I could mine asteroids as if it was day, and trying to sleep did "a short nap" and put me at 18:00 time.

The trick trigger when chatting with seraphine works 100%. If you post your save i can have a look.

Others have been helpful in guiding you with this. But they forgot one thing. You also need to complete the quest to build and send a bot to work in the Arcade. Until you do this, the ability to repair bot parts will not be available. Regardless of Tech level. So make sure you send one to work.

Galaxina shell decreases IQ if it exceeds 200. Body is entirely from Elite parts with elite precursor core, no additional modules, haven't checked on others. The drop in IQ is always different, ranging from 30 to 100. Is this a bug or is this how it should be. Other shells don't seem to reduce IQ.

So, now that Nimhe has her own sexbot, how long will it be before she starts turning out her own black market porn holovideos? With her ability to produce her own sexbots, access to all of the shells, (incuding Galaxina), some willing co-operation/co-conspirators with Khelara, Moira, (and maybe Vee and Seraphina), It seems like a natural. Certainly a lot more lucrative and less risky than building illegal sexbots. They've already got a holodeck/studio, a science lab, God only knows what's behind the forcefield and their sex obsessed droid who would help to keep it hidden from T'ris.

Nothing is timelocked, though I can think of one thing that is action locked- the flyboy magazine that has Nimhe in it, you gottatake it out its box after retreiving said box, but before giving that box to complate the quest, or you miss it forever.
But that is a case of specific actions that need to be done before certain otehr specific actions, and i think its the only such case in the game.

If you mean Galaxina Shell, then you hear on the news about a reward for it on iltari station at some point after unlocking Arallati. after that, its random drop from krell lasher in arallati.
Then you can either open it and use it or give for 50 million + new galaxina episode as reward.
Or wait for when you unlock the last zone, and use analyzer and replicator to make a copy, then you can give one for reward money and episode and craft a second to keep.

Second such order of events is keeping galaxina until you have access to the duplicator, instead of returning it immediately.

Sorry about the delay, here's that save file I promised.
Reminder: This is a 2.00 file imported into 2.05. Nimhe and Moira have milk issues, they aren't triggering their final milk scenes, and I think you said the numbers I'm required to get are incorrect (I'm being told I need 5 liters, Nimhe makes that but doesn't trigger the scene, and Moira herself can't make that much even with a full milk gauge.)
Also, there's a possible second issue, on the Dome, Nimhe and Seraphine are no longer able to do any pet tricks. May or may not be intentional, they have already achieved their "Present" scenes before I imported the save to 2.05.

After you get the bot lab working and increase Nimhe's approval, she will approach you with a request to help her recover a flyboy spread she did for quick cash. The mission starts with a search of an old bot lab in the outer reaches of the Ilteri system to recover a special bot skin. It culminates with an infiltration bot giving you a box containing the stuff Nimhe wants.
