I finished the mission, I don't know how.
I assume I was supposed to sleep, after I got the material.
seriously this game makes everything so complicated!

I've tried searching the thread for this answer with no luck.

Is there any way to change the personal bot in your quarters? I can Crate her which made me think I could take her to the lab, but no.

Pls, and Thanks

I don't know if this was reported on this version or not, but, this was a cute bug to run into.

I had never played around with the Auto Trader before and on 2.20 I decided to give it a try.
I got tired of repairing the drones and I removed all the items it was trading for AND removed the routes from all of the drones, but the game is still trading items, even with 0 bots set up to trade.

Thanks, noticed that.
It is fixed in 2.30 and until then there's revenue from "ghost drones" :)

EDIT: I noticed I have slots in the Voron Shields. I couldn't figure out what goes there as the only modules available are the cargo and engine modules, but I tried them anyway and the cargo modules worked for some reason. I filled up the slots with those and tried sleeping again and it worked. The infiltrator completed its mission after that.
I can't recall this ever being conveyed. Just lucky I noticed the empty slots. Did I miss some dialogue that explained that part? Glad it worked, but seriously did I miss some important dialogue that stated that was needed?
Awesome that you got past that. I had recently gone through that mission, so I was pretty sure that it was working correctly in the game and was scratching my head at what could be wrong with it not working for you.

Those 'cargo modules' that you are talking about are Cloaking modules. I am pretty sure that the dialog that you have with your crew mentions that, but it may not have highlighted that specific fact.

NOTE:
That Voron shield with 6 of those modules installed is what everyone is talking about when they refer to being able to cloak when you are in combat. As long as you have all 6 of those slots on that shield filled, you will have another button below the normal Fire button that says Activate Cloak.
Think of it as an 'Easy Button' or an 'Oh shit' button, because when you press it, all of the enemies, including the seekers, will stop moving and you are free to go wherever you want on the map. It is supposed to have limited usage in a round, so unless you really need to, I would recommend waiting until you have 1 AP and then press the cloak button, the enemies won't fire on you and it will refresh your AP for the next round of combat.

Good to know. That whole going to sleep thing is pretty standard to me, especially with anything involving the Infiltrators. They always seem to involve collecting everything you need, going to the area that you need to be at, and then going to sleep.

I cannot name anything specific, but I have had multiple occasions where I will have met all the requirements for something, but it still won't trigger, but going to sleep and trying again the next day will usually solve the problem. It is as if the game only updates some stats and such at the end/beginning of the day, so going to sleep is kind of my last resort to try finishing or completing a quest.

Not really.
I am pretty sure that, that bot is there to provide back story for what happened to the original crew, but it is kind of incomplete. When you are in the Engineering section of the ship, there is a crate on the right side of the screen that you can click on and it will occasionally have these blue memory cubes, which you can feed to that particular bot and her conversation option will start spitting out occasional details as to what happened to the former crew on that ship.

As you progress events with Nimhe, you should eventually gain the option to have her install a Golden Seductress for you on the bot, I think it will appear under the Favor tab with her. You will need to have found those particular shells AND given one to Nimhe for Study/Reproduction, but eventually you should have an option to change the look of your bot a little bit.
Note: The Golden Seductress bot shell can be found randomly on bots that are dropped by enemies in the Quthor system. I haven't found them on any other bots that enemies drop, so it is kind of a late game upgrade.

Yeah, I figured out the memory cubes. I hadn't gotten as far as the Seductress though, thanks.
Appreciate the reply and help!

They are mostly meant for the Voron Nova Disruptor, a laser weapon that you get if you side with zealots, if fully stacked it can destroy lower and medium tier seekers in the hexes adjacent to the target you are shooting.
That's what I'm using them for (though I didn't side with the Zealots), hence why I feel no need to get a better weapon so far - but, surely, those weapons must be better.

When you talk to Nimhe in her room in the morning or when you talk to her in the bot lab, there should be an option for gifting her items like AI cores and Mil Grade crates or offering bot shells for her to study.
It is likely that you have some other quest that is stopping that from triggering, such as the 'missing bot parts in the lab' quest involving BB-2 or the quest to find out what Nimhe is doing in her room at 2000 hours.

I had an issue like that on my game. My tech skill was stuck at Tech 10 and never improved no matter how much stuff I fixed. I had to complete the quest to find out what was happening to the missing bot parts and after that everything worked just fine.
There should be an option called Lab Materials when you talk to her, might have to wait for next day for it to show up in her options

You are not the only one that is disappointed by the Nova Disruptor. For being a weapon of Voron technology, the damage is anemic. AOE damage is nice, but outside of a few fights pretty much every enemy does its best to stay the hell away from each other, which renders the Nova Disruptor a moot weapon.

The Quantum Lance is on the same level of damage as the mid and late game weapons and .... it's a newbie weapon.

Can someone remind me how to get favor points for Khelara? I searched the thread and walk-through and can't seem to find it.

Doing smuggling or bounty missions will give you appreciation with her.
To gain favor, you need to give her money. Select your multipass and then use it on her once a day, you can give her up to 5000 credits at a time, which gives you +2 favor each time.

I did some missions for bounty and smuggling and no fp. The money is the ticket. Thanks.

Meanwhile, I LOVE the AOE damage, find it vital in all levels of combat once the enemy starts firing their own missiles, completely ignore all other late-game weapons, and find the Nova Disruptor works just fine to get me through all the way to the end. I have TRIED some of those other late-game weapons, but the very rare occasions I find their slight increase in power useful don't outweigh the times I need AOE damage at all.

Different strokes for different folks.

Absolutely. It is always good when a game has multiple ways of resolving the same problems.

In the previous versions of the game, my favorite weapon was the Hellhammer. God, I love that weapon. That thing is blunt force trauma incarnate ... and it only gets worse when you feed it underverse effectors.

It is always possible that it has been nerfed into oblivion in 2.20, but I just don't know right now. I am starting a new game completely from scratch (no multiverse pod) and I have forgotten how grindy this game can be. I have just started unlocking Quthor, but I am salivating at the thought of getting my hands on my blessed Hellhammer again.
If it has been turned into yet another Quantum Lance, I will be very disappointed and lost as to what to do at that point. But, I still have hope that it is the same old frontal assault siege weapon I remember.

Lets throw a 3rd approach into the mix. (Assuming this still works. I'm on a fresh run after not playing since the game went 1.0)

Love the Nova when I get it. It's same dmg at Quantum, but that AoE bonus is great for clearing enemy torps as soon as they appear. So it saves me from having to spend my own torps (which I mostly use when there's an enemy torp next to another enemy ship/torp, so I can clear the torp while also damaging the ship).

When I get to the Vaultships I go with the Barbed Carapace and Wails of Infinity.
80% dmg reflection shield combined with a gun that recharges my own shield... makes me giggle :sneaky:
Only drawback is that I have to go back to spending money on torps so I can AoE the enemy torps. (Not that money is an issue by that stage of the game.)

I got you dude. So true. Only thing that kept stumping me was that modules are called "cargo" cloak modules, so I kept dismissing them.

Don't get me wrong, I may complain from time to time, but that is usually because I'm enthralled by something so great then it suddenly shows a weakness and I'm suddenly surprised and disappointed. But when I reflect on all that this game has to offer and obviously the intellect and creativity behind it all I find myself in a spot that has been overwhelmed to the point of obsession and I still have to mow that damn yard outside, but I give the excuse that its just too hot yea thats why I'm not doing it right now

Fear not, it was not touched since its inception... :)
