I'm stuck trying to get Nimhe to let me take her for walkies on The Dome. I've taken Seraphine on walkies at least 10 times now, even stuck around to take her on consecutive walkies (I know it's Ponygirl walks, but walkies are more fun to say ). Do I have to make ponygirl bets and/or talk with everyone for them to count towards the required amount before Nimhe gets jealous and asks for her own walkies on The Dome?

That is odd and I might have to look into it.
The event should trigger already after the second time. When you return with seraphine then you'll get an event in the cargo Bay with Nimhe and from then on you can take her to walks as well.

anyone know how to let nimhe study the higher grade shells so she can make them?

In order to have her craft a shell, you first need to give her at least one of this kind of shell. You can do that in her dialogue options with the point * bot lab voucher * This option appears once you are familiar enough with her (SLU 13)

First, Thank you YV for your continued work.

In the spirit of helping you make minor updates to fix small typos or errors, here are a few suggestions.

1 - In the New Game (day 1) intro, most of the initial dialogue has 3 periods. "an unremarkable star system...", "a chance encounter with an unknown craft...", etc... But one of them only has 2 periods. "No response to your hails.." I assume this is suppose to be 3 periods like the rest of the entire intro. Easy solution for you would be to do a (find all) of the game text files for any instance of 2 periods. Then review and change to 3 periods if required. Most word processing programs have a find all function. BB-2 sometimes uses 2 periods. But this is also up to you to review if necessary.
2 - When interacting with the Maintenance Tubes in the Cargo Hold. MC says "That could come handy later on..." I think the proper sentence you're intending to use is "That could come in handy later on..." You may wish to add the word in.
3 - Also during beginning of intro, when first meeting T'ris/Woman. She says "I recall your signature from the intruder alert at my shuttle". I think you need to change the word at for the word in.
4 - BB-2 is inconsistent with his use of contractions. Sometimes he says things like Would not or should not etc. Other times he says Wouldn't or Shouldn't. It would make sense that an AI would not be able to use contractions, but the choice is yours which way to go on this subject.
5 - After finding the Wrist Control Unit in the Captains Cabin, MC puts it on and then MC says "I hope that is safe". I think you mean to say, "I hope that it is safe".
6 - When talking to Shady Trader for 1st time, MC says "It can't harm to keep one's options open..." I think you want to change the word harm for the word hurt.
7 - After buying the map from Shady Trader, MC says "I should hand that over to T'ris as soon as possible." I think you want to chance that to it.
8 - When accepting 1st trade mission in the Captains Cabin Computer Terminal. BB-2 begins to explain how this works. He says "This is how it's done:...." Yes, this is another contraction where he may prefer to say It is instead of it's, but the reason I am mentioning this one is because there is 4 periods instead of typical 3. This happens in other conversations too, such as when T'ris enters your cabin and catches you entertaining yourself. She says "Evidently so...."

I probably also scan all BB-2's dialogue and make him talk consistently without contraction.

Anyone know a (preferably) efficient way to get the different Shells?
I've been killing pirates in the 2nd system and it seems they drop 3 different ones and then in the 4th system where I've only found one. I haven't seen any in the other systems :s

After fighting swarm in space oddity (Iltari system) player doesn't get any exp, reward screen is skipped entirely.
First 2 bridge interactions with Vee are wonky. Nothing happens literally, when asking for bridge favour.

In 75% zone in quthor there is a traveling trader that sells elite shells. The fields of automatons also have elite part chance.
And of course the pirates you mentioned.

The Galaxina Shell is a quest item (triggers after seen all standard episodes when you are in iltari station)

I am at the Beacon of Elements and I've loaded all the exotic ores in my ship. My question is: how do I use them to complete the challenge? The terminal at the beacon doesn't react and it's impossible to drag the ores out of your inventory. I'm probably overlooking something super simple but I can't get past this. Can somebody help me out?

I got some heat on that one...
Use your wrench on the terminal button to "fix" it (remember from the game start?) then place the right ores... (see walkthrough or hints table on the wall that becomes active)

2. spying on Ylyee brings you to deck 2 (you described this bug above, but why deck 2? didn't find this code yet)
3. not spying on Khelara is still a bug (Jim says awesome/or smth - maybe doesn't like unshaved?)
4. any plans to spoil milk output with alcohol?/increase with blowjobs/sex?
5. Ylyee avatar in krell space is naked, but she wears her suit (naked only in future version?)
6. you can bring T'Ris to krell administrator pet but Jim doesn't want to interact (and is it Moira's back or administrators?)

Also, while i'm griping, some of these characters have absolutely ginormous heads. Moira is pretty bad for it, but the J-class bot shell is the most egregious.

I'm in a similar boat.
In general, I like the style a lot. I just wish that the heads were like 10% smaller, and 20% less blocky.

- the Khelara item i do not understand (when Khelara is in the shower, it doesn't matter what you'll choose - to spy on her or to leave, Jim will be satisfied, when you leave showering T'Ris/Nimhe, he is silient)

Thanks for the clarification. I think they are indeed a number of inconsistencies I need to fix with the next version.

9 - Flyboy Vol 1 is not shown in the Gallery. Maybe because it was only used as a mission item in your cabin to convince T'ris to help you manage your urges. Seems a shame that effort was done to make game art and there is no large image to review in the game gallery. Also may be nice addition, when using magazine on Captain's Bed, to include a large size image of the magazine for the players to enjoy.
10 - Speaking with Veronica about hiring a hacker. When she is telling you to hire Nimhe she says "They can chose any appearance they like..." You mean to use the word choose not chose.
11 - When talking to Nimhe about hiring her. She says "Talk to me again if you're hiring.'" You have an extra apostraphe there at the end for no reason.
12 - All prices in the game for everything from drinks, wares, ship parts and even gambling refer to currency using comma's to seperate thousands. example: 1,000 credits. Except when talking to Nimhe about hiring her, she asks for 50.000 credits. I think this period needs to be changed to a comma.
13 - Another issue about currency. All references to currency use the Cr abreviation for currency. Except when interacting with the Shady Trader and the BarKeep Veronica. Their items for sale and purchase are listed with g. Perhaps all use of g should be changed to Cr. I have not checked other vendors in other planets/stations/sectors yet. Perhaps others also need this adjustment.
14 - Nimhe Bot Configuration Tutorial. She says "Finished Bots can be sold after once they are readied for shipping." This sentence needs a little change. Up to you, but maybe something like "Finished Bots can be sold once they are readied for shipping." removing the word once. You could also maybe go a bit farther and change readied for packaged, if it sounds better to you.
15 - Khelara hiring cost. She also asks for 20.000 Cr. I think you want to change the period to a comma.
16 - When T'Ris reports to you that her analysis of the anomaly around the 3rd level compartment door can be removed with various materials. She says "A Mining Laser MkII will called for." I think you need to add the word be. "A Mining laser MkII will be called for".
17 - When Nimhe asks you to retrieve the Flyboy Special. MC says "Why don't just send some hired hands to make him an offer he can't refuse?" I think you need to add the word you in there. "Why don't you send some..."
18 - Same conversation as above, when Nimhe is talking about Flyboy Special. She says "You do that, and i'll own you a favour." You need to change own to the word owe. "...i'll owe you a favour."
19 - When visiting Iltari system Outer Belt (after Infiltrator constructed), BB-2 says "Captain MC, might I suggest to look for another Infiltraor Shell here?" Need to correct Infiltraor to Infiltrator.

did some investigations on Khelara:

when you choose leave in shower option the game doesn't use "912_cutscene_khelara.rpy" return option, instead it uses "500_intercepts.rpy" return option - that is why Jim says Nice on leave
