I'm glad you like the game. As the ending is only narrated, there are no variations of that. For those who do not wish to return to the home Galaxy, I might add some kind of harem situation in the player base.

And a small hint : There is a hidden alternate ending graphics...

edit: Solved it by getting "invited" to surrender my cargo, at least i don't have ghost cargo space anymore

Something like that would be good.
Or something like a hidden harem ending.

Like: TRis became obedient slave and dedicated her life to serving her Master and following his strict commands. She thinks it's her purpose, to do everything her master tell's her, even if sometimes she doesn't like it too much. Orders come first.
Even if it's a no orgasm month, being stuffed with crell toys.

Seraphine became market expert and anal slut. She researches the market for the crew, finding even rarest goods and in free time experiments with her ass, training it by multiple ways. She remains virgin, as a true princess. Etc.

I think that's what most players would like to see, if we are honest. Or something in that direction.

I got them during random attacks travelling in the various areas especially in Krell space. You'll get bot crates during those. Open them to see if they contain any of the new shells. If they do, then unload them and go to the bot lab. Take them off the bot and once her tech is high enough, you can give them to her to study. After she studies one, she can them make it. You order her to make during the morning assignments.

You can also find a vendor in the Quthor 75% who will sell Elite Shells. Takes a bit of cheese to get a decent size collection tho' unless you're okay spending several IRL days doing it.

You can buy it in the first system at the Pirate Outpost. Make sure that your notoriety is around 20 then you will be offered level 3 gear.

Also ensure that you have the engine Mark II and have it equipped for six action points or you will struggle with the fights in the third system.

Okay, I'm pretty sure something isn't right with my game. I've got notoriety 77 and spent several days now trying to get weapons at Krogneath but he isn't selling anything.

Have you purchased the better licenses at the star base? Pop back to the base and try to go to the admin centre again.

That sounds very unusual. If you want you can post your save game here and I'll have a look into it. I am always checking for weird Edge cases I might have overlooked...

Assuming of course that you run the game without any modification or that you did not compromise the game's data by some command line argument gone wrong.

Level three shields and weapons are the quantum ones with the pink colors, level two the neutron ones with the blue color and level one the photon ones with the orange color.

Maybe you are looking for something better than level 3? That exists but it is optional stuff you get later in the game and it isn't really necessary for the first three or four star systems.

You should have the special shield already though, and probably also the special hyperdrive, both of which you received from the vorons in previous quests.

Here is the save. I don't run any mods or messed with the data, I have no idea how to even do that haha. I did "savescum" by abusing the rollback function quite a bit though, not sure if that is an issue. Maybe I misunderstood something though, I do have a pink quantum lance weapon already, the torpedo arrey is mkII and green/blue-ish. I've had both of these for ages though and honestly can't see myself winning the fights in the 3rd system anymore. I did clear the precursor junkyard there twice already but the quest items didn't drop and the fights just get harder and harder.

Good idea, upon reading it I wasn't even sure of that myself anymore. Went back and checked, and MC only says there is nothing to do there, so I guess I must've gotten that already. Thanks anyway.
