I think my only critique of this game is quest design and progression are sometimes unintuitive as hell.
Take example that I had to spent 100ish in-game days (I suspect you could be faster) doing random things in first map because apparently you need to click on jumpgate after you already passed the condition in order to trigger its quest. I swear I tried to click that one before but it said I have to finish the business in the planet first and who knows when I actually finished that whatever business which allows me to meet the condition. It just never came in my mind that I had to click that place again.
Another one is apparently weapon upgrades which I've spent many battles using only basic weapons only to realize that you need to click on certain place first in order to be evaluated, then you are permitted to buy upgrades for weapon (nothing in game talks and remind you to do this!).
How to progress to certain character quest is also less intuitive. I asked the dev because I had the trouble, and he gave me help in this thread. And I supposed to increase certain character EX stat in order to see the event. But guess what? Apparently I need to be give her certain clothe first. The quest won't be triggered unless I give her something first which never stated in-game before. The only clue I got in the game is through conversation which the girl said something like "Don't think that I will be like other girls and walk naked in your ship!", which apparently you can persuade her to, later. After giving her sexy clothe first, and got rejected.
Like what's the dev aimed to with these decision? Should I develop my habit to use all items I found on characters? Or clicking random places everytime I finished a mission? It could be done by triggering the quest automatically as the story progressed or after it met certain prerequisites without forcing player to click all random stuff just because it's point and click game.
I know most of it are solved by reading walkthrough. But that proves my point. Because of how unintuitive the game is, you need to use guide in order to fully enjoy it. Imagine in-game guide is not enough to properly guide you to enjoy all of its contents. That's just quite a bummer. Luckily not all of the quests are like that. So I hope dev will do something about it in the future. But honestly I had fun playing this game for hours. And I don't even care about H-scenes anymore, just want to be space lord because the management part is quite fun. And it's completely free. And the dev won't shove his patreon to player's ass or lure them to pay by releasing super premium patreon version of the game which has unique quest for patreon tiers only. So that's a big plus.
