When you get to the Pirate Base, Vigo gives you a task to get rid of some rogue pirate in the asteroid fields, once you defeat him, return to Vigo, then you can hire the engineer.

There are many versions since V0.80c. Playing each version to get to the current one will take far longer than just starting a new game. In addition, current versions allow you to choose starting days that eliminate grinding.

There are dependecies all the way down. You need to build an illegal bot. Do you have access to the bot lab yet?

Poking through the code and there seems to be expert pet training coupons. Doesn't appear to be used at all as of yet. I'm mostly done with the game as it stands, it seems the back half of the game is pretty threadbare compared to the first half. There is lots of things that would be interesting to see expanded on, but even as it is, it's a pretty good game.

Same thing happens to me when i invested in it, went to try it and got an error
