So I accidentally sold my only infiltrator shell - I forgot that Nimhe hadn't added that to her list of shells she can create. The guide says I can pick up another at the outer fields, but I don't see how, it only lets me mine. I've already added Moira to my crew, so I don't know if that's the issue. Any ideas? Are there other places to get one? I'd really rather not go back to an old save when I still had it.

I did exactly as you said! all steps as you described, still got the error :/
I am certain there is no missing file as every single downloader would have run into this error.

If you post your savegame I can have a look.
Maybe I find some overlooked code issue.

I also recommend you get the latest version V205_010e on itch just in case.

I implemented a fallback for cases the bot escapes or is accidentally sold. :)

Visit the Iltari Outer Fields again and you run into another shell (worse quality but usable for missions). This works only if you really have no shell anywhere (not the warehouse, not the lab, not cargo)

Hey dev! Idk whether these are bugs or not, but I can't seem to trigger "Rescuing Seraphine" and for some reason, although my NOT is above 50, nobody sells me level 3 weapon. Also can't seem to get level 3 weapon permit (the MC just saying "I wouldn't know what to do there"). Here's my save if you want to check it. I'm using this cheat btw, dunno if that's the culprit.
With NOT 20+ you get up to level 3 from Krogneath (his inventory may vary)
With REP 30+ you get the license from Iltari and can buy a 100% suite of level 3 the same day

Thanks! Turns out I had one in the warehouse. I was trying to do a completely new playthrough with the completed game, but when I unlocked the warehouse it automatically added all the stuff I had there in my last playthrough.

But... It just doesn't work. I have 50+ NOT and 50+ REP. Note that I already removed the cheat and the result still same. I think my game is broken, because last time I played this I can still buy level 3 weapon and stuffs eventually.

If you use a mod which monitors and modifies data States, like urm, it is highly likely that your entire data will become inconsistent and your game state has been corrupted. Sadly, this does not revert back to normal if you uninstall the mod.

Once you started the game with the mod that's incompatible that's it.
I check for urm and prevent the game to start but obviously it does not catch all cases.

The Seraphine rescue is still a tremendous difficulty spike, that requires that you know how to game the system fully to even have a chance. If the enemies don't fly next to each other, or if you can't hide behind a rock by turn end, you have to roll your turns back or start over.
its noteworthy. because once you get cloaking, even the hardest fight becomes trivial.

I'm also struck again by how little or nonexistent personality changes are in this game. It is so rare for a character to be anything other than dismissive and uncooperative, no matter what their stats are. And the complete lack of conversation between characters about their circumstances. It's all very businesslike, and while I understand that may be the intended tone, I would prefer it weren't true for every character.

I played a few times and still don't _fully_ understand how the fight system works. I'm relatively good at actually not loosing all modules, but I always have a few of every in the warehouse to fetch. My strategy is mostly grinding for the valuable black/violet torpedos and smash them onto everything. And if I forgot to assign the reloading during battle job in the morning I'm not engaging in fights at all.
It's still a very good game in my eyes, it's okay if there is one element I'm not able to master and I like the aspect of a well built hexagonal (bestagonal) play grid.

NoiVul, cuthbert_binns, did you guys notice that when you're not firing, you're not using up your turn? Yes, the other ships move, too, and what's more important, their seekers move as well, but your turn doesn't end. Sometimes (granted, it's just luck with Krell) you can use it to actually force them together so that your torpedoes work better.

If you're in the Krell system, you should already have the Mark II engine, hopefully fully fitted with engine boosters. That gives you six shots per turn, five if you're going to end the turn manually. What I do is use all my shots but one, hide behind some asteroids (so that no enemy can fire at me after just one move), and if there's a seeker nearby, kill it with my last shot; if not, end the turn. Repeat until all enemies are dead. In most battles I don't even get hit, and it's very rare to actually lose my shields.

Found a visual bug.
1743672059389.png
Inspecting Seraphine's uniform in the holodeck showed the usual CG and changed the background to her room. This was right after the 3rd pony training scene, but I think this can happens any time you have the option to inspect her uniform there.
Leaving and re-entering, or just clicking the "holodeck main" icon on the minimap, fixes the background. Inspecting it again (so she says "you're already checked it") makes it wrong again.

Thanks for the report. Registered for fix in 2.10

What is the best way to keep as much as possible progress currently?
I need to upgrade from version 1.40 to 2.0.5.

There is a picture post with the four of them that you can use. The other part (threw me for a bit) is you have to do it in their normal clothes not the krell uniform. Unlock everything including the plug. Is it usually a combo of the first two combos or second and third combo in that picture. I think if you search discipline in the search bar it pulls it up. You just have to try different variations of those three combos with them. If you're still short (for instance have 1 move left) try each of the actions. I would roll back if it didn't work until I found the correct combo to make it work. But I use a computer which made that very easy.

Typo Bug Report:

Conversation at Pirate Base Bar with Krogneath about visit to Iltari Station.
MC says "So it is important that you insisit to take your Pets with you..." insisit misspelled, should be insist.

Iltari Station - Krogneath meeting Station Administrator.
SA says "Let us proceed into the meeting location for talks in a more private setting...." too many periods.

Iltari Station - Krogneath conversation with MC following morning meeting with SA.
MC says "And the ignomious dicrimination Rules against Krell Traders...?" dicrimination likely should be discrimination.

Speaking with T'Ris after previous meeting with Krogneath, MC reporting the results of new dress rules at Iltari Station.
T'Ris says "A worthwile eandeavour." worthwile should be worthwhile, and eandeavour should be endeavour.

Have gotten a bit frustrated with the disciplining Nimhe. I did a search and none of the posts I read address my issue. I haven't unlocked the butt plug, so trying to get to the second line. I first use the 4 combo, but after that nothing I try works. I get too little arousal with large stress for all the choices except wait which doesn't lower stress much at all though it lowers arousal enough that I can't get arousal up without stressing her out.

I tried not using the 4 combo, but arousal stays near baseline while stress rockets up. What are the finishing moves?
