The space journey models are amazing honestly. I'd really like to see these characters in a well-animated video.
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

i'm glad to hear you enjoyed the game so far.New to the game. Enjoying it. Am old fart without much time, so cheating extensively, but carefully to bypass grind. Modding .rpy files to cheat/learn Renpy; make the game play my way (no offense, yv - love your game, but I do this with all games - its my nature).
Query on sexbots/sexlab: Exactly what is "Special" skill? yv0751 - Small suggestion: Next walkthrough, try summarizing bot personalities, traits a little for us newbies, please.
I'm just casually gonna drop this here..

(this is without using any Elite parts, all military)

It's not bad, but you can still squeeze it a bit. It could increase the income even more, but I prefer a lower intelligence so I can use it in the first zone.
but i use elite pieces,

Sorry, but it has not been tested on joiplay and it does probably not work.Hi I'm on joiplay and when I try to hire the engineer/mechanic and I got this error:

The foo thingy came just in time. fixed in 2.10 (BETA will be successfully completed tomorrow and it'll go into early access)Yes I came to the same conclusion however the MC never asks or confronts Vee about the camera nor does she ever tell the MC about it. Hence my statement about incompleteness. Could have been handled in a single conversation once the MC discovers the camera. Further, if you scan the camera with the Hand Held scanner, it reveals 'foo'. If I was the Captain of a vessel, I would definitely have a conversation about something that I would consider a 'Security' breach on my vessel.
Well it could be worse. What most of you are missing is that this VN/Game is not complete. yv for example completely removed Khelara's further sex training after the shower scene. MC was going to continue her training as of Versions previous to 150. The memory cube is another example of an incomplete story line which is fairly evident with cube 7 as the bot in your room will not accept any more after cube 6. As Macfinn99 pointed out, the swarm looking camera on Deck 2 is another example of incomplete work without a story line. There are other examples but I would rather just compliment yv on this game as it is still a very good one. I just wish that yv could see the popularity this game has and could have been made into a series of games rather than just 1. 1 example is rather than ending the game at the Way Station, Season 2 could have had the crew move 1 galaxy closer to the milky way and earth rather than getting all the way home. Some authors and developers choose to move on to different subject matters as they get bored with their current projects or hit 'writers block' or something like that. I can't answer for yv nor would I but this game is a good one and apparently very popular. Doesn't make sense to end something prematurely when it could be a 'cash cow' on a different platform such as Steam. 1 simple game like this with multiple seasons spanning 10 years could make 10's of thousands maybe even 100's of thousand's in revenue. Or maybe even bought by a Big Game producer like Bizzard. Just saying, you never know. Exposure is key.
I personally like what yv has developed and hope he continues rather than doing incomplete projects like this. But after all, it is His Choice and not ours. Good Luck yv, I will continue to follow your works.
Hey yv, thanks for your thoughts. Again, I wasn't trying to be negative at all. Just saying that it's a great story and I myself truly enjoyed it and I'm sure others did as well. And as I said, it was your call whether you continued any content or story line as you are the developer.Well it could be worse.
PPL could say "I wish it would end" (like for the entire season 7 of voyager...), so I'd rather hear "I wish there were more content".
It is complete in my book (not meaning it cannot be extended, but it has a start and a conclusion and a story arc). As I was not sure I could continue developing it because ...reasons, I wrapped it up with 1.50 so it wouldn't be left as half finished.
There is still demand for content, so I might add a few episodes more but definitely not much beyond 2025 as I'll move on.
All the character models are out there, so if s.o. wants to make an expansion feel free to do it. The DAZ skills to do that are manageable and the code is simple python.
There is no rule (maybe there is in p*rn, though) that you should be able to nail everything in sight for a game to be complete.
I hope ppl enjoy what is there.
Thats my 5 cents on the "complete" topic.
What a shame, such a good game and that you don't put sound in it. The animations without sound seem empty. The visual part has to be accompanied with sounds. The game is complete, but in that aspect you failed. For example, it's the same as presenting a birthday cake without candles. The foo thingy came just in time. fixed in 2.10 (BETA will be successfully completed tomorrow and it'll go into early access)
Nah, totally disagree with you there. Sound doesn't make the game. Story and game-play does, which this game delivers on. Following your example, the attraction of a birthday cake is the cake. Just because someone forgot to buy candles doesn't mean the cake suddenly becomes pointless. You can enjoy the candles while I have a slice of candleless cake. What a shame, such a good game and that you don't put sound in it. The animations without sound seem empty. Thanks for the comprehensive error report.@yv051
Found this by accident -
Open “Active Quests” (hints displayed), save, quit, restart, load ‘save’ file – error (loads fine if haven’t quit game, that is, loading from already running game).
From traceback.txt:

Choose ‘Ignore’ from Error notification. Save loads, presents “Active Quests” page, empty of all hints. Choose any option; ‘Exit’, ‘Gallery’, ‘Mission Logs’ – All function perfectly. Return to “Active Quests”, and all hints are displayed. If ‘Exit’, returns to game location from which “Active Quests” was called to save.
Note: This is the original unmodified 430_misc.rpy file:

Attached is .zip with game save, screenshots, traceback.
P.S. Out of curiosity, tested with saving “Gallery” & “Mission Logs” instead. Identical error.
if tooltip and isinstance(tooltip, list) and "gallery" in tooltipThat's why I say the game is good, Pastel is an example. What I'm getting at is that the lack of sound takes away the essence of the animation. It has sounds of all kinds except the one that should have worse games than this one. It has sounds, and this one, which is good, doesn't have them. It's simple to add moans, that way it's complete.Nah, totally disagree with you there. Sound doesn't make the game. I did indeed not document that in the walkthrough.Where can you get each Bot Shell? I know that one is the Galaxina one and i missed the chance to copy it but when i go after pirates i get the same 4 as loot and the mistery trader in Qohor gave me the green skinned once and never offered me another Shell
Ah damnSorry, but it has not been tested on joiplay and it does probably not work.
It works on win, mac and linux or in emulation that run those.
As I have no other hardware i have not tested it elsewhere.
Thank you!I did indeed not document that in the walkthrough.
- The galaxina shell (if you were so honest to hand it in) you can obtain in a second path in 2.10 through nimhe hacking into the HoloNet Server for the blueprints
- J, I you get through quests. If you lose I, you get another one (low quality though) in the Outer Fields
- C, K, V, N you get in the Arellarti Asteroid Belt, Pirate Loot
- P, X, F you get in the Quthor Asteroid Belt, Pirate Loot
- U (Abyssal Queen, unique) you will get in 2.10 if you destroy the Underverse Portal near Abydos
It sounds like you're not using rollback to get alternate choices. I always save the game before I loot the destroyed pirate vessels. If I'm not satisfied with the selection I salvaged, I just reload the save and try again. Same thing with the rich merchant in Quthor except I just use the rollback without a save. It's similar to doing rerolls in a D&D game. Yes, it's tedious and sucks up your real time but it makes better use of your days in gametime. In my mind, it's better than opening the console and changing parameters for the "random" selections.Where can you get each Bot Shell?
