I think I am doing something wrong, I cannot even beat prescursor junkyard zone 1, and I have quantum gear. The spiders keep replicating and increasing, also cannot access jumpgate, says need more time with vee. How to make my ship more survivable.

I assume you have Vee, otherwise it wouldn't even tell you to spend time with her. So... spend time with her?

The first thing you do is train her (usually 20:00 after that days favor from Tris.) go down to her recharging chair and start with blowjobs, then sex, then you move out of her quarters and have sex on the bridge when Tris isn't in the room.

Have you reached the point you can task Vee with Space Survey? If so, do that. When she finds one you'll be notified she found a Space Oddity. load up your missiles and head to the cloud labeled Space Oddity.

At this point you can get just trust your luck and click in to see what you get (Swarm ships coming out to attack you or Wormhole of the Void), or you can use your mousewheel (if you're on a PC) to scroll back and try again until you get the one you want.

I prefer wormhole of the void because it's mystery crates can contain Collapsar Torpedoes (here again you can go with the randoms or after the contents of the crate are finished displaying, scroll back one click and try again until you get missiles.

You can also get these as scavenging the wrecked ships of swarm ships if you go with the ship attack option, but with wormhole of the void you don't expend any missiles getting more.

These are the best missiles you can get in the first system (and arguably the best for several systems) so take on the precursor junkyard once you've got at least 12. They are area effect (everything in an hex adjoining the thing you target) so you take out bunches of spiders at once.

Unless they're glowing yellow (in which case they're more like tracking missiles), if you've got quantum shields, don't bother worrying about the spiders at that stage -- there are an infinite number of them until you've taken out the primary targets. You can usually survive a turn or two under the full barrage of them all. I do generally try to take them all out AFTER taking out the primary targets, later on, but not until I've got multiple high-end AOE weapons, which at this point in your game (barring the "new game plus" element you get from the multiverse pods) you've probably only got a limited supply of mid-tier missiles for AOE. Until you've got better weaponry than you can get in the first couple systems, cloaking shields, and that sort of thing, you'll just never survive long enough to wipe them all out; without them, you should survive one wave or two, but they'll get through before you can knock them down enough to matter. Instead, just go for the two primary targets at the top of the map, and use (all) of your missiles wiping those out. Then recover loot and flee.

You are here to loot the Core, not kill spiders. Be Aggressive. Use your most expensive torpedoes like they were free.

Just adding to what Cirdon said:
Purchase the MK II engine, bring it to 100% functionality AND install 6 engine dynamics modules (The Krell at the pirate base sells them occasionally). That should give you 6 action points per turn to smash enemies.
Bring at least 12 BFT-2000s (12 so should be enough) AND set Khelara to reload torpedoes as her daily job.

Be Aggressive: When you enter the Junkyard, IGNORE THE SPIDERS and run straight for the defense station.
The basic spider enemies will not fire at you until you have used all of your Action Points, so maneuver around them until you can get right next to the defense station.

Use those 'Free' torpedoes: Park right next that defense station and start spamming torpedoes until you kill it. After that, push inside the 'cubby hole' that the turret was blocking and tuck yourself into one of the corners, then spam torpedoes into the AI core.
Entering into the cubby hole is important since you will run out of AP before killing the core and that hole will block fire from any enemy that is not directly in front of that area.

Your torpedoes are AOE, if there are a lot of spiders around the entrance of the AI core, use your last AP and use a torpedo to target the largest group of spiders and kill them so that there are fewer enemies to fire at you when it is their turn to attack.
Also, you can target a spider that is next to the core or the defense station and deal damage everything around that spider, including the defense turret or AI core.

When you loot the AI Core, you can flee the scene, if you are badly beaten up. You will lose the experience from the fight, but you will keep anything you looted. If your ship is still in good condition, defeat the spiders that remain by luring them to the area where the core was, they die in 2 hits from the Quantum lance and you get a fairly massive amount of XP from killing everything if you can.

Suggestions:
When sending T'ris to train for Jumpgate Navigators License in Iltari, the player can still depart to explore the system and do things off-station (mining, deliver cargo, etc). However when sending T'ris to go for Pet Training in Arellarti, the player is stuck on the station and forbidden from departing the station. I would like to suggest that the player is permitted to depart station in Arellarti, but only blocked from using Jumpgates or Voron Beacon jump's. (since a Navigator would be required) This would permit the player to do things productive to pass the time.

***unless it is your intent to make the MC unavailable for the day... like a cutscene image where MC is training T'Ris under Krell supervision (MC holding the leash) during her Pet Training class.

I know it says MC does not want to leave her alone, in case a unscrupulous Krell Takes her. Are Krell thieves? Thought that was against the Rule of Commerce nr. 15. "Stealing from a Krell is a Profit you regret" Though I suppose the MC isn't a Krell so maybe that makes it okay to steal from non-Krell? Does not seem like a good business model to upset your customers. Anyway, the line of Dialogue for not leaving her behind could be removed/edited and MC permitted to fly within system only. Unless you are super keen and Patreon backers encourage Training cutscene that removes MC and T'Ris for the day.

How do I upgrade the Terminal in the space ship as it's level 1 and I get attacked by lvl3+ bots?
Taunt doesn't really work either for some reason. I successfully taunt the attacking bots but they still attack the Terminal.

Infiltrator has 2nd attack ability to fortify a target. You can buff the terminal.

I've lost the I shell. is there anyway to get a new one? Nimhe can't craft it yet
Yes there is. Walkthrough page 24 explains you can return to the Outer Fields belt and get another one.

Is anyone having trouble with the precursor robot boxes? They're not providing body parts like the head, torso, arms, and legs. Or is something new that needs to be released in this version? Sorry if the translation is confusing.

I think they've only ever provided precursor cortexes and precursor-related items. There are no precursor-unique heads, torsos, arms, or legs in the game.

Y.V. - I know you are working on 2.40. Do not forget to add the remaining weapon and armor information. Some body armor and handguns do not have any displayed stat modifiers in their description windows(Light Blasters, NanoTex Armour, etc).

ie: Light Blaster is blank, Medium Blaster mk2 says Str 16.

ps: maybe add the AC value to armour pieces. ie: NanoTex AC1, NanoTex Mk2 AC 2, etc.
pps: not sure if oversite or maybe this is a suggestion. When equiping guns,change the Str value on the Bot Title card.

And here I thought the light blaster and default armor and grenades have blank requirements (yes, it's requirements, not modifiers) because they have none so they can be used by any character...

Hm... I seem to be getting damage to MY ship's systems when Underverse seekers co-opted by the Nephilim Projector hit enemy ships... but again, only to my systems. My hull/armor is untouched (which is a damned good thing, as I've spent a lot of time grinding out 16 Scales of Lilith by this point, and since I haven't Multiverse Podded them, I'd hate to have to re-grind for them again), and often my shields are still up, but I'm losing components mid-battle.

Some parts, but not the missile launcher. And they don't burn out mid-battle with any other system, and certainly not when the ENEMY ship is being hit with a seeker.

Edit: Just saw someone on itch.io reporting the same issue (in amongst a bevy of other bugs they've found). They notice the damage happens even if the seekers hit WRECKAGE, not just the active enemy ships...

That is a bug which is fixed with 2.40.
The seekers detonating on the enemy take out subunits on your end occasionally.
Put the Projector in storage until 2.40 is out.
I addressed a whole bunch of combat balancing in 2.40.
I might release a V.40 Preview (which is mainly visual and menu overhaul) which has a bunch of fixes like this as well in a few weeks.
