thanks for the report, will have a look into that today. I unified all the favour menu code in that release so I will review that once more.
Version 2.30:
Checked the code because I was afraid I messed up the menu. Favours are available if APP is >= 3. You get 2 by retrieving her Flyboy, 1 by giving her the Pet Shaver. As usual.
Future questions regarding unreleased versions please on discord or Patreon/Substar to avoid confusion with public releases.
That can't be right, I have her APP at 3 just from completing her quests (I haven't unlocked krell shavers yet) and it still doesn't give me the option for choosing a favour. Plus, I don't remember ever needing to gift her the shaver in any of the previous playthroughs.
P.S.: I found the issue after I looked at the code. I didn't remember that she only gives out favours after 18:00 at this point and apparently the game also doesn't say that anywhere except for the code. Perhaps in the future there could be some text about this in the walkthrough or the in game hint "visit her in the evening to collect your reward".

I suggest you try the version he is about to release, regardless, the game is great, and i enjoy replaying it with newer versions.
Assume the final version is already complete, and everything we're getting now is expansion. Because it is. And assume the expansions will continue as long as people are interested enough that it stokes his interest in the game. So there may never be a "final" version that is any more final than what we have now, as yv0751 may always be inspired to add more to it.
I mean, how much can you really enjoy replaying...? This game has a surprising amount of grind, which is why the new save system that allows for using saves across multiple versions was such a requested feature.

You need to clear out the precursor site in Arellarti. When you win the third battle, you'll get it.

I enjoy replaying quite a bit. I always start day 1. I'm like that with almost all games.
What are the Precursors and do you know where they are? I've done generosity missions and fought about 10 battles and about 15 transport missions. Are they in the belt before reaching Arellarty Station?

Every star system has a site called "Precursor Junkyard". You need to fight off the horde of defenders on three separate occasions to finally clear it and claim the map fragment.

My opinion about the Precursors is that they had incredible technology but for some unknown reason they are extinct. Junkyards contain some remnants of their technology.
According to the lore, they were powerful, but they had to flee this galaxy because of something they... found? created? woke?
Yes. And the Swarm are automated remnants of the Precursors, that developed/evolved/devolved after their creators had left...

That's similar to the warhammer40k Ork lore. Not complaining. It's a shame that Trek itself didn't create a better origin for the Borg.
