Could always go with a gaiden type of after stories for some of the more interesting ones. With what your doing with Spacecorps I can see them being a hit.

That's actually part of the Grand Plan. Phase 1 is the VN prologue, Phase 2 the stat-building to enter a branch and choose your Ethical Path. Phase 3 is the Paths - if I haven't grown bigly by then, it will be a series of Endgames made by yours truly [MC Rebel, SpaceJihad, etc.]; but my ideal is to 'franchise' other developers to take those paths forward in separate games. I know it's a bit of a pipe-dream, but I'd love to see a Spacesim FliteCorps game or an Unreal Engine Forward Infantry game expand the SpaceCorps Universe

As for Tribalism stat - I thought that low tribalism with high obedience was more of a "working to make Spacecorps more equal for anyone" path than rebellion. Guess I was off my mark quite a bit?

It'll depend on the balance - but the Rebel path is unlikely with high Obedience. I'll have to look up what the actual Path that leads to is

Can I do this without sounding like a dick? Probably, but I'm not going to try right away.

Some people have already complained that the MC isn't some destined hero who gets everything handed to him on a silver platter, which caused the majority of people counter with "it's a nobody who got thrown into a living world that existed before him". And that's one of the strong points in this game (and the most ambitious). What you're asking is exactly that. Just because you're friends with someone, you demand they submit to your point of view with no regards to their own. Let's be honest (to use one of Ranli's examples), even if you're ballsdeep in Fatima, the moment she asks you to go full Rebellion, while you personally are pro-obedience, you'll go obedience, so it would be hypocritical for you to complain she doesn't follow you. Yes, the standard "double standard" is that you're the MC, but once again, it's a world that existed before the game started, and that includes the characters.

I'm sure, in a perfect game, you'd be able to spend some time with them to convince them of your point of view, but, let's be honest, who wants to see a political debat in a porn game (especially if that debat ranges from space Nazi's to anarchists to religious fanatics). I know it's satire, but a lot of people don't always get satire (which is why it took so long for Starship Troopers to become a cult classic, why Showgirls flopped and why the Robocop remake was a bust). So, for the sake of gameplay, we're limited to sexy time. So, while you may be able to persuade your best friend why they should be pro- or anti-Trump, you won't be able to do the same with your fuckbuddy.

I like this aspect, to be honest, because it makes the other characters real. Also, it makes me look forward to the complaints in the future. While other games have abbundant complaints how we don't get more scenes with whatever character, or how we don't get certain fetishes with whatever character, we'll be seeing complaints about political and personal views of our fuckbuddies. "I love how Cole sucks my balls while he jerks me off, and it always makes me happy when I bottom out his bottom and fill him with my jizz, but I hate the fact he doesn't want to hang out with my lowlife friends! Can anyone make a mod?"

Also, I think people don't celebrate the humor of the game as much as they should. At least for me it was something like come for the porn, stay for the jokes. Especially in the early almost no 'homosexualist" content available. I could see it was something I needed to keep my eye on even if the gay content never grew (thankfully it did).
Some repeat jokes always crack me up, like Jimmi exclaiming "Racism!" in his head every time some human badmouths aliens or vice versa. Your sense of humor is really awesome. I wish I could write funny shit like that.

Thanks alex! Lol - I'll admit that I spray as many jokes as I can and hope that one hits [spoof style]. I'm pleased to see the humour gets referenced a lot in the ratings MC kind of writes himself a bit (as do characters like HanZi and Morgana).

I sometimes wonder whether I should put a Trigger Warning on the game - but it would either have to be very long, or very short ('Do not play this game if anything - anything at all - triggers you')

Don't do it. My personal preference of course, but I find them to be less "a polite courtesy for potentially surprising content" and more of a:

"Here's a hoop, jump through it, creative person.

You don't know me or if I even am who I say. You couldn't possibly have known I was or wasn't in your audience (or lack thereof). But if - as an optional courtesy (that you can certainly omit, clearly, but if you do, you're literally the H-named bad man, whom you're free to be if you want) - you don't extend thorough, comprehensive details of every category of event that may or may not upset a person (note that "what may upset a person is subject to capricious change because every possible event that could or could not happen in real life, could or could not happen in fiction)

I felt like abandoning that, it's clear. Instead, I'll divert to a funnier alternative.

On your "Want to see more?" screens, add a text box somewhere with the word "Triggered?" and make that hyperlink to a form which demands detailed documentation (including video evidence of the physical manifestations of the triggering, all personal information to verify the circumstances of the triggering, and consent to medical procedures including but not limited to brain scans (via traditional means or by Volchak), to rule on any and all triggering claims.
