Aurora is a sexbot that Doctor Lazarus is working on, and, depending on the player's orientation or past choices, there will either be a scene with her or MAX the robot (he is the M/M option in the very first scene in Part 1, where he can do the exam instead of the nurse). The player doesn't get to choose this time, so I got MAX automatically because I originally picked him instead of Fiora.
I still consider it one of my favorite VNs. If it's not number 1 it's top 3 for sure. My one complaint now is that I think having so much content for various sexualities and kinks (which I think is awesome and hope he never stops doing) is that the updates feel very short. Like if you are only seeing gay or straight content each update might only take 5 minutes or so to view. The update that has just come out has a mission in which, imo, the MC is rather uncharacteristically resourceful and smart. Apparently, according to Ranli on Patreon, starting from day 5 the MC will be a lot more proactive and confident, having adjusted to SpaceCorps. The most recent Fatima shower scene also had him acting very charismatic, for example. It seems like the plan is for him to become even smarter and more confident as the game goes on, though I guess you can still continue to choose the (literally) low IQ options if you want to.
