I doubt this is true, you can't fairly jump to such conclusions based on one update. I'd wager that it was a simple oversight.

I know you and many others don't feel that way but having the straight and gay options mutually exclusive was already a sign (as a bi man, it's very frustrating). Not having a choice was just a logical confirmation, even if it seems an oversight in the end.

The December update will add her dream sequence. She may also end up being one of the characters to get the shower scenes next, though that will be much later, when week 3 will be in development (at the current pace it will probably be autumn 2024, lol).

It's still odd that the MC speaks as if he's encountered MAX before when he certainly hadn't on my playthrough, but maybe something's been changed in the opening of the game since I played through that.

Oh, that's interesting. I didn't see that comment about how Aurora will appear in the 2nd part of the Dan mission. Now I am wondering how that will work, though. Will the 2nd part for Bi players contain the Aurora scene from the 1st part or will it be a new one?
Edit: Now that I'm re-reading it, it does look like it will be the scene from Part 1. Well, I'm happy now, lol. For a moment there, I thought the game was taking control away from the Bi players, but, in actuality, Ranli was just going to give them a chance to see both scenes!
Nope, it's still optional to meet MAX in Part 1. I'm just going to assume that, for those who hadn't met MAX, it's supposed to be interpreted that the MC met him at some point off-screen. MAX also appears in some of the game over screens, but those are supposed to non-canon, lol.

That's unfortunate. Really disappointing, it's not reasonable to expect a Dev to predict every possible permutation, but when a suitable alternative is already there...
I don't consider myself Bi, I see myself as straight with flexible definitions (AKA I'm fine if they are predominantly feminine, such as Traps/Trans/Sissy), I've got zero interest in characters that are masculine...
I'm actually feeling pretty pissed that we are forced down this route when there are more suitable options !
I don't suppose you've seen Rani's response to that view point? (surely it's come up)

Honestly great to see how Ranli responded to this. I can see what the original plan was, but it threw me off that there is a default pick for part 1/3 for Bi players (some may prefer the M/F content more/may not be interested in MAX). I think if parts 1/3 and 2/3 were also released at the same time, it would not have been as jarring. Also happy to hear that the met/mot met issue will be fixed!

Yeah, back when they still hung around here, my impression was that Ranli was usually willing to listen to and consider feedback, no matter if they agreed with it or not. Glad to see that that's still the case.
I'm greedy. I wish I could pick Cis, Anna, and Fatima all as primary love interests. In the harem that I'm building, there will be no favorites. All will be equally loved.
So, what's the point of being able to have a choice for something as simple as "does Anna get touched in the shower or not", but not "does Ci-Ci literally fuck Cousin Felix and the entire crew"??? I mean I like Ci-Ci's character before that and the fact most other choices were a choice of *action* and not *viewing* , but with Ci-Ci she's just the hole of everyone else and there's nothing you can do about it. What's the point of giving the choices for everyone else, but NOT one of the PRIMARY LOVE INTERESTS??Fortunately - if you play it right - Ci-Ci's jealousy will dissipate. She's more upset about the lack of attention you've paid her than any real possessiveness... a bit of TLC and her natural instinct to share with friends should emerge

Couldn't the dev just have decided that if the player chose, they never actually got physical, but just exchanged photos? That they exchanged them just before she got shipped out? Or that she managed to convince the people around her by doing literally anything other than sex? I mean you show it for Dave, so clearly it was a possibility that could've been implemented. The initial writing just had me thinking that Ci-Ci was just more open than her brother, not that she was just the town-bicycle.

I mean, in the first instance the choice exists because some players might be uncomfortable with seeing or having a character be sexually assaulted as part of the story. In the second instance, it's literally just a character having had consensual sexual relations as part of their backstory. Even then the game only shows Ci-Ci having sex in fantasy/memory scenes and only when prompted, so you can just not engage with those scenes if they cause you significant distress.
Otherwise, the expectation that all potential love interests be virginal and chaste before meeting the MC is kind of unreasonable, imo, when this is a raunchy porn game, and one that has never advertised deflowering young women as one of its selling points.
I used Anna specifically because she's a love interest. I could pull up the vast majority of other sexual interactions in the first episode, Anna's was just the most relevant. My argument is if the entire game is about being able to choose, and you are able to choose a LOT in the game, then why is this something that you just have to accept?
The idea that in your mind, you genuinely believed the point of my comment was that every character should be a virgin, despite the fact I literally made no comment about the dozen other characters, is genuinely deranged. What an utterly moronic strawman to make. Gross.
