That's a good question, actually. In terms of Patreon 'n such it should be the same thing, I suppose, as Fatima and her roommates are definitely having themselves a no-foolin' incestuous old time. But perhaps there's a reduced risk of them cracking down on it when it's slightly off to one side like that.

And you're right that it at least makes allowances for players who don't want incest in their game, who can disable that kink and set a different relationship with Ci-ci and Ma-ma (or whatever she's called). It's still pretty clear from the game what their intended relationship is, but one can finesse around it a bit.

Because the rules are contradictory and/or the people who enforce them are idiots, Incest is a illegal but it still exists in the world (as something to be mocked), so the MC can't incest but characters can still have it in their history as long as they don't do it with the MC (apparently). Strange how Murder is illegal too but MC and NPC alike can do that as much as they like.

Banning incest porn is slightly easier than banning all violent fiction, to be fair. Wouldn't be much of anything left apart from Clifford The Big Red Dog, and that'd get done in the bestiality purge.

I got this game through this website and i'm playing through all of Season 1, and i just need to say that this game is a godsend. It is well written, has good smut, is funny, and the setting is really good. I am also in awe of the sheer variety of kinks and fetishes you added in, and wanted to commend you for writting all of this. Just wanted to suggest a few things like a skip button, or a foward button so you can more easily do new paths and skip things you already seen to get to it, and i'm curious to see how it will affect my future choices. Also i wish that unlocked cutscenes and pics stayed in the Virtual Stable, like how picking Nurse Bailey means i don't get to see M.A.X., which is a bummer.
Wish i had money so i could fund your patreon, because you deserve it.
The song choices are kinda tacky tho. And there were some unskipable cutscenes i wish i could skip, but that's all my complaints so far.

Just to let you know, this game, like most RenPy engine VNs, has Ctrl as the skip dialogue button. You can toggle the settings for text skipping in the preferences menu.

Yeah, usually RenPy games will have "Skip" somewhere on the screen as part of the UI, but there are also a bunch that have custom UIs without it. You can see all of the controls in the "Help" part of the main menu.

I can confirm that the ctrl is the way to go to skip content here (if I'm correct, you cannot skip the previously unseen content by default, but I think there's the way to remove also that limitation in the preferences. This also works for the musical interludes (which are fun once, but just once ), but you need to press ctrl before they start (which is easily done by going back with the mouse, eventually).

I sometimes get baffled by what actual set of laws there are on the Mercury Ship. When i found out that there are actual indencency laws against lewd behaviour, i was actually shocked. I thought the entire ship was okay with being a constant orgy from what i've seen. Constable Ayewn is the only one who cares about the rules, even enforcing an anti-pornography one i never would have imagined was a thing, and even then he's alright with fucking cadets which i thought was frowned upon. It feels like the overall rule on sex on the ship is that it's okay if a superior officer starts it, while the inferior one just has to go along with it, which puts a lot of the sex scenes in the game into the Dubious consent category.
Also i still love Constable Ayewn, even after he had me flogged because i was seeing pornography.

Was it all one sided?", and yeah, the interrogation scene showed that poor Jimmi was taken advantage from everyone in the ship, and the worst part is that me, the player, made sure it happened every time. I actually felt bad for poor Jimmi and his misaventures. I'm glad he's more confident now and taken advantage of less in season 2, but i still get shocked sometimes at how easy it is to make a wrong turn.
Also the cadets all being naked at first and everyone wearing what i can only call "Stripper Fashion" also made me think that doing whatever sexual thing you wanted was okay, but i guess it's all about Power dynamics.

I consider season 1 as a sort of 'crash course' for Jimmi on the ways of Spacecorps so that he sheds his (basically) mind conditioning from the environment of Ganymede and can develop his own personality. As you said, you can already see changes at the end of season 1 and continuing in season 2. But yes, there's always the risk of finding yourself in an abusive situation (you don't even have to be a cadet for that, remember the scene in Sarge's gym and the other guy)

I'm confuzzled. I just downloaded and upgraded from v2.5.2 to v2.5.4, did 2 comfort missions and then it said to be continued already. The log said like 400 new renders and loads of other stuff so i guess i did something wrong? Nothing else happened with anyone else story wise. Just did 2 out of the various missions available and it ended. >_>

The update only includes two new time slots so (on a given playthrough) you can only see two of the new missions/events.

Looks like Ci-Ci's dream will be featuring Pastor Chang and Mo-Ma, though I kind of wonder how much they will be involved in it and if they will get any sex scenes. Kind of related to this, I wonder when Chang will be introduced into the main story since, iirc, the ending of Part 1 sort of implied that he also snuck onboard the Mercury?

Teaser 4 is notable because there will finally be a story scene with Cole. It's been so long since he appeared in the story proper despite being a PLI. He seems to have made friend with Rick, which makes sense, since they are supposed to be the mean jocks.
