It's actually rather worse than that - my original project for the start of Phase 2 was September... 2019 I have a tendency to bite off more than I can chew. For clarity, though, MC now merely has to get back to the cadets and go to bed to complete Phase 1...
PS: also worth noting that in the last 6-7 months f/m players have: rescued Anna from the Clutches of Sarge after a lot of lesbian flashbacks and a femdom sex-scene, got a feline-alien preggers while in jail, had several bouts of sex with a Nazi, and telepathically spied on their sister's fantasy about blowing after she got them hard in a public corridor. I mean... it ain't nothing

I only wish it was my fetish of loving relationships leading to pregnancy that was being encouraged everywhere BUT ALAS

Hey Tomten! Yes, the password is only available via patreon or subscribestar - it's not on itch because I don't charge for the game there (though donations are always appreciated!) As far as in-game content, you get a few extra scenes like the creep minigame, access to Cis' laptop, additional pics in Wrestlmania and so on - but the main benefits are the sidelines (up to 4 associated minigames, backstory comics, Xenobiology lectures, and a whole bunch of pics, polls, teasers, etc.)

This version has an in-game walkthrough (both a hardcopy version and a interactive version you can bring up by pressing the 'w' key at any time.)

It's your game and your decision how to structure and develop it. As long as your patrons are happy you're doing your job.

As for the scenes you mentioned, no offense but for a period of more than 6 months(!) that doesn't sound like an awful lot of content. I'm sure SpaceCorps will be an interesting and exceptionally varied experience once it gets closer to completion, but at this rate I doubt we'll see much of that before... I don't know... mid 2022 maybe?

From his previous post it seems he doesn't like that the developer decided to make good on the promise to add mm content, which the game was lacking, and remastering old scenes. Hence why the passive aggressiveness.

There's a number I'm playing every now and then.
Titles that I regularly come back to include Cure My Addiction and Love&Sex: SB, both of which probably delivered a lot more during the last 6 months. Also Corrupted Kingdoms, which updates every few weeks so there's almost always something new to do. Other favorites are The Last Sovereign, with its insane amount of content that can't be measured in sex scenes cause that's not what the game is about and Free Cities with pregmod, which kinda breaks the site rules so I won't get into all the things it offers. Plus a bunch of Japanese eroges, but those are released as finished products and hard to compare to patreon games in development.

I'm aware you probably didn't expect a serious reply and I fully expect a few more facepalm emojis from people that are outraged that I dared to criticize one of their favorite projects but you asked so I figured I'd answer.
For the record, SpaceCorps does seem like a very interesting title. If I didn't care for the setting and story I'd simply ignore the thread instead of bitching about the direction the development has taken. I'll bow out now and take my "passive aggressiveness" elsewhere so I won't interrupt the circlejerk any further.

You've named some super devs and games... but it is important to compare like to like. e.g. Love&Sex has at least 17 people on the dev team (whereas I'm solo); Corrupted Kingdoms and Cure My Addiction have repeatable events (mine is all unique) and The Last Sovereign is text-based (mine is very visual and usually has 300-400 cgi renders per update). Compared to other cgi renpy games with multiple paths, mine is huge (bigger than Milfy City, for instance - and with more unique gameplay).

I never claimed it was a fair comparison and it wasn't meant as an attack on you or any other developer.
The guy I replied to basically called me out to link games that provide more bang for the buck so I listed a few off the top of my head.

Calling The Last Sovereign text-based is a bit misleading, it's an RPGM game after all. The sex scenes are mostly text only but nobody in their right mind would play that kind of storytelling masterpiece just to get their dick hard. Milfy City is smooth and visually stunning when it comes to the naughty parts but not much else. Just like nobody plays TLS for the sex, nobody would ever expect a game with that name to be particularly multifaceted or original.

As for repeatable events... yeah... yours are all unique because you haven't gotten to the bloody sandbox part yet.

On a more serious note, I don't doubt your dedication and, as I said before, the direction of development is entirely your choice and my opinion about it is mostly irrelevant.
I don't mind the facepalms either and I'm certain I'll get a few more the next time I comment on one of your updates.

The truth is that I never expect how good and how much the gay content is! It feels like a part of the game and not just some random sissyfication here and there to put the "gay" tag to the game, it's also pretty well written, so I'm really looking forward to the development of this game

Well, I just wanted to point out that most games just lack on updates and only provide one, maybe two sexscenes in one update, every six months. Maybe I should have worded it better to make it more clear (I do have a tendency not to reference the thing I'm satirizing because I'm under the impression that it was obvious).

But I must say, the games you listed (other than Corrupted Kingdoms, which I will check out) are all older than SpaceCorps and have progressed storywise into the realm of sexy times, and all have, with one exception, a 4+ star rating. So I take it as a win that you pit SpaceCorps against A-listers?
