I like the CGs and the premise, but the writing is borderline gibberish at times. I simply gave up on it because I just couldn't deal with it.

I agree it's a frustrating game, graphics are excellent and it starts great (I didn't know it was supposed to be a str8 game and actually I kind of doubt it, I thought it was planned to be like Spacecorps with an equal content of str8/gay) but I think the author didn't manage to deal with the ramifications of the story so that it becomes inconsistent very quickly, and by focusing on pushing the story forward instead of readjusting the existing material he made things progressively worse.


But coming back at Spacecorps, question for Ranli: you mention that you wrote the story of the Maid for ServiCorps so I was wondering if each branch will have one token character you will interact with or there will be more variety (also, maybe not all branches are created equal in terms of content?)

Most of the players of SpaceCorps are rather refined users with perhaps eclectic (in both senses of the word) but also rich and choice tastes

There's a language issue - I believe he's Argentine. The artwork is lovely, though - and the animation is better than the vast majority of both straight and gay games.

Each Branch has a few trainers - Lenore, HanZi, Dave and an unseen fourth will all assign ServiCorps missions, for instance. It's very unlikely that all Branches will have the same amount of content (tho all will be large!) - and some Branches will naturally favour some kinks above others. For instance, FliteCorps will see more Taboo than others because it's Cis' Branch, Forward Infantry more Femdom and Maledom due to its nature. If there was an Eighth Branch, it would likely contain more MindControl - but as we all know...

I agree, his artwork is really good and the character designs are very attractive. The dad is especially hot.
However, and I say this as someone who also has english as a second language (I'm brazilian), the spelling and writing is sometimes bad enough that I won't understand what is being said.

I have a plan for my own game I'm working on (twine/sugarcube) and I'm terrified of people thinking the same thing of my stuff.

Hardly a difficult fix, simply make it part of the lore that mind control isn't really a thing and it's only possible to make people do things they already want to do but are too scared/repressed to try.

It's proven, however, that hypnosis can't make people do things that isn't in their nature (meaning you can't use hypnosis to make someone kill another person, hurt themselves, or make them have sex with you). Basically, you could say hypnosis has the same effect as alcohol and lowers your inhibitions. Mind control could work the same, making it essentially instant-hypnosis. You'll still won't be able to make them do things they wouldn't oridinarily do, but you'd be easier to persuade them to do things they would do in other circumstances (such as make them have sex with you, since, well, it's well established everyone you meet is easy).

Well i just finished 0.3.3, and my god i feel bad for MC. The only character who seems to sympathize with him is that lovely Volchak guy who bails you out of jail. Inbetween sex scenes it feels like the entire game is simply everybody ganging up on poor MC, yelling slurs at him, beating him, and just generally making his life a living hell.

I will definetly look forward to next update though.
