And of course me being me, instead of re-reading the guidelines and thinking ''Wait, that doesn't make any sense'', I just accepted that this is what it says and felt it would be too hard to make a review about a game without focusing on how I felt about the game. And now that I saw the the #ReviewGate thought I could attempt again and help a dev out since this is one of the games that I really think deserves to be seen.

That's kind of what I thought - when someone only gives 2 or 3 stars to every game, you have to start wondering what their motives might be (or whether they actually like adult games at all!)

Well, perhaps it would be more interesting to see, which game wasn't rated so low by him (if any)... Not really worth the effort to actually check that but I wouldn't really be surprised to see one game standing out.

I might be a cynical old bastard on one hand, but as I like to say: just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't really out to get you. :p

Lol - I reckon cynicism is often called for. There are a few low reviews in my list from recent accounts who've hit a few devs of top-rated games and then melted away. Not sure if this is one of them, or just someone who prides themselves in harsh scoring.

He's a Jean Grey fan and TBH I'm wary of anyone who has freaking Jean Grey as their favorite X-men

I love Jean Grey (although she'll always be Marvel Girl to me) and wasn't aware there was hate for the character. I do understand that people hate the way the Pheonix Saga was handled (here's a hint, it's a called a Saga, that means you can't tell the entire story in a single movie)
