My personal favourite is found in folder /sound: "Kein Erbarmen" from "Die Leere im Kern deiner Hoffnung". If you like Lacrimosa, perhaps you will dig that song also.
Generally a very nice choice of tracks in this game, and don't be afraid to choose also rather unconventional scenes.
I tried to play it strictly hetero, but it's a lot more fun if you don't restrict yourself to much.
Don't take yourself or the MC too serious and i think you are in for a hilarious treat.

i mean, yeah, I kinda did. A CGI (IMO) can never compete with actual mp4 porn in visuals, so if I wanted to look at boobies, or even special fetishy boobies, I would just pull out "crazy cheerleader vacation 13" or whatever. For me and some other people, the whole point is that you read the plot, and through the plot get certain associations with certain characters. I'm not choosing between DD-cup brunette and a C-cup brown girl. If i did, i would pick one, B-line for her, then download the next game. I am choosing between a bully, a childhood crush, etc - Lana Roades just doesn't give me that experience, bc Lana Roades talks to the cameraman for 30 secs about how big she likes her dicks, and then the plot abruptly stops. That's why there are games with literally no images - you just get horny off the characters, that remind you of somebody you wanted to fuck in real life, or just some trope or situation you dig.
The problem is, this game doesn't do that much characterisation anymore, and the CGIs don't pull their weight alone.

I very much agree to your first paragraph above. Porn games provide obviously a different experience than porn clips.
However, i would alter your last sentence to:

I believe we are at a stage at the moment in which primarily general, perhaps even generic scenes are added to fill the freeroam section with content. This doesn't mean there will not be anymore characterisation and plot with our fellow cadets and ship staff in the future. I'd recommened to give it some time, because your assessment seems to be a bit premature.
We are looking at monthly updates right now, and they have to be of a smaller scope than we are used to. If one creates content for like 30 characters (size of the virtual stable) there will always like 90% of them not be featured in a single update, especially in a monthly one.

I think "Special" may simply be a poor word choice, because unless I've missed something it is just a normal update, I think the Dev was just playing with giving each update an amusing "chapter" label, and failed to note what "special" means in common usage.
But who knows, maybe something "special" will happen in the second part.

My point was however that those people seeems like didn't want any sexual content in an adult game whatsoever and were obsessed with just moving the story forward CHRONOLOGICALY for heaven's sake while sacrificing the very chracterization you advocate for.

I'm not too fussed about the plot, it's mostly nonsense anyway, but I would prefer some sort of story that involved the MC as something other than a spectator.

I of course don't know if it's the case here, but if i were RanliLabz, it would look like a good idea to outsource unimportant content to other creators, while i am working on the important stuff which includes the main NPCs. So i could put out rather regularly monthly updates, which a lot of players desire, and every 3rd month or so i can add my own content, which drives the plot forward. Seems to be the best of two worlds, although not as ideal as original content every month, which is probably just not doable. Just look at the update intervalls in season one, and how F95ZONE members get salty if they have to wait a bit longer for them.

Now that's at least a reasonable point. Personally I didn't find the bunk updates boring but arguing about tastes is a special olympics discipline so I won't do it.

So I was way off, I suspected "Bunk" might relate to "Bunkum" or "Debunk".

Personally I'm ambivalent about those updates, On one hand I'd prefer it if it moved forward a little faster, but I also like world building and exploring the histories of the characters. but ultimately it shouldn't matter what the masses think, the Dev should be left alone to pursue his vision without being harassed, you can't please everyone... and he shouldn't try, that way lies the path to homogenized crap, IMO nothing great was ever created by committee.

Speaking of which I'm not sure about all the outsourced content, one of the things I liked about this game was it tried to balance the choices available to the MC, be gay, straight or explore everything, but these new updates really limit these options.
Hopefully it'll balance out, I'd love to know how much direction RanliLabz is giving these guest creators, are they making this content under commission, with a strict set of criteria or do they have carte blanche .
