So have to say that music selection at the medbay check up at the beginning had me chuckle with laughter

Also I know science officer kex can do that mind reading / control thing … And from that volchack guard he tells us we reading his mind.

So does that mean Kex has done something to our mind so that we can do that mind power thing as well.

Or was that always inside us and is something that came with that beastmode power we get to see a glimpse of at the end

Hoping we get some flashback or some backstory how we were able to become beastmode

I believe it is all his powers that he is only now discovering.

From the talk with Kex it seems implied that Jimmi already had the telepathic power, she even got suprised when realizing he didn't knew about his powers yet.

And the transformation (beastmode as you called it) came after Jimmi read Krathi's mind and felt her emotions during the sexual intercourse.

Gosh had another conversation with another h-game dev about font color choice and readability, and that's before we even considered color-blindness. My question is: how hard is it to add an outline color in Renpy? Our discussion was mostly in Twine, and I think we figured out a way to make a really dark-colored font color stand out to be readable against a dark background.

Interesting! What did you figure out in the end? (So many colours I can't use for character names that would suit them better)

It was a simple matter of adding a white outline around words in that particular font color. To be honest I have the same readability issue with the Protoganist's dialogue color here in SpaceCorps, his dark blue name color just gets lost in most scenes and backgrounds.

How odd... in my playthroughs and all the screenshots from other players, MC's colour is bright orange! (you didn't tinker with it when looking through the code, did you? )

So I noticed there are 7 different branches will we be able to choose between all of them in future updates ?

Or will we be forced into one branch caus of our intelligence and be forced into that forward infantry

You’ll be able to play all of them (different playthroughs, of course). In the next Phase of the game, you’ll be able to earn stats through training and missions, etc... Each Branch has certain stat requirements (E.g. more IQ for SciCorps, more strength for Forward Infantry) and at the end of that Phase, you’ll be able to pick any Branch you‘ve earned the stats for.

That sounds great to me because during that video introduction into the branches and Sarge and Jared were practily saying the mc was not fit for most of those branches i got a little down like the mc was lmao

So i can basicly even become a flight corp person ? Anyways glad we are not forced down to only infantry corps

Thats gotta be alot of work to get all those branches open and put missions and such in it for all them

But i do hope we will get to see some missions in the branch u take and not just seeing that as a ending with u as the mc in that outfit saying gratulations for reach this branch the end dwl

A lot of colorblind modes agree on the best action to take is assume everyone is colorblind. There is like 4 or so types and each would require a specific change to address them, so instead of doing that, they use symbols along with the colors. You can do this via shoving a male/female mix symbol for herm/futa, or male only symbol for gay. Or instead of throwing in a symbol, make the border to the herm or gay content slightly different. Square edges vs round, vs 1 of each, etc.

I just found this game a short while ago, and I have no idea how I've never seen it before. There are too many good things to mention about this game. I just got past the tablet game and I was wondering if that was a parody of some other game or if it was completely original (I want to see more of Rain). Thanks jeffforporn! As far as I know, no other game has a public bench/homeless girl scenario; and Rain isn't based on anyone (I actually adapted her from a Daz horror model!)

It's more a genre parody than about any specific game - a ribbing about all the sleep molestation you see in the referenced titles. They're usually your sisters... and there's an odd lack of moral questioning/ethical crisis about what you do (usually, you just have breakfast with them the next morning like nothing happened!). So I took it to the logical conclusion - if you'd do that, surely you'd also molest a drunk homeless girl (the ultimate victim) in a park; repeatedly sedate her with magical powers; and probably get her pregnant!

(Lol - in case anyone thinks I'm being judgey, I also did it cause I thought it was hot )

Lol - yes, it's going to be a massive amount of work LOL: hundreds of missions!) But it'll also be very cool! The ending of Phase 2 will almost certainly be a version of the Star Wars medal sequence, where you're inducted into your new Branch... but worry not! After that comes Phase 3!

FliteCorps is the top Branch (under the assumption that there are only 8 branches ) so it will require a lot of stat points - but I imagine training with Cis and Felix should make that an enjoyable experience.

As for Anna, it's totally understandable that a girl from such a prudish society wouldn't want to talk about that with a guy she hardly knows, don't hold it against her.

Yes we didn't have sex really in the showers with Lt Calamari but I still count it as some sort of sex lol just my opinion

Well I can see ur point about Anna and how she not willing to tell... But still feel bad caus I felt bad for the mc cuz he clearly felt a lot for her that's all

@RanziLabs: I may be misremembering which character's font color threw me off. Or was it a different game? Gah. Either way, high contrast is usually the best solution for readable font colors. And sometimes font choice helps too, I know that I've stopped playing some games because the "special" font they used pissed me off.

I second the suggestion of adding a symbol for choices, not just colors. Some people may prefer "blind" playthroughs, so maybe the color highlighting and symbol hint can be optional choices you can turn on and off in the menu?

Have to say that phat bottom girl song fitted perfectly with that French cleaning maid in the game made me laugh and enjoy it even more

Eagerly awaiting that interigation talk in the jail will be fun times to see if and how he will get outta all those offenses he done dwl

Also will be interesting to see how Sarge gonna react after we took Anna away from her... Pretty sure we aint seen the last of that by a long shot.

Played this game over 3 times by now still makes me laugh at so many parts of the game definatly a funny MC to play as

That whole pandemonium seems quite interesting as well with those hell demons trying to each in their own way to get the MC .. Curious to see if it gonna lead in different paths gud and bad down the road
