The game's fucking amazing, but I can't get over how stupid the MC is, makes the story less enjoyable for me. I know that it's easier to throw information dumps when you have a dumb MC, but god damn he's unbearable. Everyone takes advantage of him and to be frank, the only thing people think of him for is his ding-a-ling. Right now, I'm in the part where he meets his sister after humping the lesbian sergeant. Does it get better, or the dude gets dumber and dumber?
Personally, I get the sense that he's not stupid, just incredibly naive.
I will agree the mc's stupidity is beginning to become grating. RanliLabz has said that he will offer oppurtunities for him to get smarter. I do hope these show up often and quickly.

burningdesire is right - he's not the brightest spark anyway, but his main problems are the naivete and ignorance caused by being raised in a Cult, plus a dose of culture shock and several blows to the head. Like revan335 says, the game will offer opportunities to increase his smarts (some as necessary parts of the storyline, some as optional missions that boost the upcoming IQ and Knowledge stats). Since the consensus seems to be that I've gone a mite overboard on the dumb jokes, I've decided to bring this forward a couple of updates and restore a bit of brainpower in 0.2.6 (lol- not all at once, obviously!)

Will the restoration/buildup of brainpower be a necessary step to advance the story or do you have the choice to play on as a mostly primal brute, assuming it has appeal to some?
I'm totally stumped. How do I get to the shower scene? Everything I do just brings me to the wrestling match with the Sgt, then it's game over.

The storyline will take you back to the IQ you started the game with (which only qualifies you for ServiCorps and Comfort Section), plus a bit of extra Knowledge (you've gotta learn something, right! ). But the current plan means that after that you can choose to reject IQ and Knowledge building missions, with an effect on dialogue and some actions. For obvious scripting reasons, there can't be too many different paths here!Are you playing v0.2.5? (earlier versions end earlier!) If you are, it's about finding the right options to progress... for full content it's: Tap Out, Adapt, Reverse, Advantage, Give up. However, there are ways to skip most of the scene if Sarge isn't to your taste, and some of the 'fail' options offer unique sexual content... albeit followed by death! I'd usually advise just playing round through different paths, since there are plenty of sexy little extras scattered around
