almost like a) it's not quite a 'new' game, and b) even a new game should be a little better done than this, even some other v0.1 projects aren't as bad as this, really.
but it's also just that, this is a project in the making for at least two years, that i recall, and that's after the more advanced version had more to it, and kinda sad this is as far as it's gotten, when the game it's supposed to be an 'upgrade' to is quite a bit better, even as like a v0.5 ish thing.
it'd be like i dunno, raven's quest, which has a decent amount of content by now, got remade from scratch with a different engine, took like 2 years to show any progress, and when it does people have some issues with how it's done and how little content there is, week old for the 'new' version or not. not only is it iffy, not only is it far less developed, it's also just feeling like a massive backpedal and like we won't see this version start to even be 'equal' for like a year...
still, same sentiment i said before - there being 'official' releases at this point feels like the general core of the game is done, the learning curve is done, and like a lot of these kind of games, we might see monthly developments of improvements.
