If we are being fair, then sure, this is milking. He could obviously close the account out, or pause it.
But again, he states everywhere that these are tips, and don't mean to encourage anything else other than a 'Thank You!'

to be fair, i was more talking about the kind of people who put out a new 'version' of the game on a monthly basis or so, that require patreon subscriptions to get the new stuff, then 'remake' the game before it's even close to being done, because they, probably, ran out of ideas and needed a buffer.
my POINT, is this is a massive red flag that indicates the project is probably on shaky ground.

i'll admit it could've been clearer, but i'd also say it wasn't worded that way, given i implied it wasn't one of those cases. and you didn't even take note of the first part... you basically ignored the first half of it. that's... not really on me.
don't bother, man. he's moved on from this project, talking about it in another place he probably isn't really going to bother checking (i mean, it's a dead project), or even his actual website which he might be more inclined to check, won't actually change anything, if he doesn't want to keep it going.
the non-chibi thread's even less likely to be checked, since i don't think he updated that since like, 2020 or something. or, as far as i'm aware, neither version is actually uploaded here by the author...
he has a discord, if you really feel like you need to get your point across. that's probably more likely to get to him than most other things.
The irony of him crying on Twitter all day about 'the woke mind virus ruining video games' while he himself has turned into an ai artist while also sitting on a handful of development hell projects isn't lost on me.

It's a bummer, I know. Space Escape wasn't ground-breaking by any means, and it was a mess, but it was one of my earliest memories of an H-platformer so it had nostalgic value.
I went to his profile, went to the media tab. And saw no AI art.

Maybe it's a settings/permission issue on your end?

clairifying that, the point is 'looking at the clouds' and 'even if' is implying in a certain case that's not necessarily the right circumstances, and them still going 'nah, looks like 'it's raining' to me', is just a bit weird.

For some reason, the controls guide is all in controller buttons? I'm slowly figuring out controls but I would like to be able to navigate the menu lol.
