Best of luck to the dev here but man that over saturation. Assuming that it's a stylistic choice and not just trying to cover up low res images, there are a few image filter programs out there that will give the image a unique visual style and with a little work in photoshop can look pretty decent.
Not complete, but do not know, what is now their main project. They are active in patreon, however.

Yes. I know this is 6 months later but just found it digging through female protagonist tags. The Dev's patreon and jolt links both lead to 404s so i guess they deleted them too.
