It's been delayed while my partner works on an expansion to Horny Holiday. Since Spark of Joy is a sequel to Horny Holiday, we wanted to make sure that more people loved that game, which is currently rated mixed on Steam.
So probably in...six months, she'll resume work on this one. It's also slower in part due to both of us having three jobs (we each work full time, and have two side jobs, and our gamedev activity is one of those two).
I just noticed Ardent Passions on Steam listed right next to Spark of Joy. This is also a title you're working on right now? I see it's scheduled for 2026.
...I should change the dates, since we probably won't have the demo available until Q1, 2027 for that game.
I'm working on Milfy Cases - it's in Early Access, and I just finished the reboot episode last week, with a few more issues & bugs to sort through this week. If all goes as planned, Milfy Cases will be wrapped end of 2026 - then I'll be working on Ardent Passions. Things got all delayed since I remade Her Heart's Desire from May, 2024 to June, 2025 - that 13 month period effectively pushed a lot of plans, but I learned a bunch, so I feel like the reception of the newest Milfy Cases game made that effort worthwhile, since I've been leveraging everything I learn from each title as I make the next one.
The lesbian content in this game isn't optional since that's a core part of the relationship dynamic between some of the women in the game.

The demo and the available version on Patreon / Itch are all the same for Spark of Joy, which has an animated lesbian sex scene. Development for now is on hold while my partner wraps up an expansion to Horny Holiday, the prequel game, and assists me with the reboot of Milfy Cases (she's done the set design, customization, and helped with story, costumes & more).
