Eh Rational Chaos was ok (if only Kayleigh had a hairy one) . If you're referring to the one before that (BOGO), yes, that one was a dumpster fire (or electric chair fire), but the dev was going through some shit and that was mostly his ex's project.

RC was a disaster after the first episode. It made less and less sense until the final. Not to mention teasing the daughter from the first release only to blueball her until the very last update with a timeskipped shitty scene.
I have no idea how the dev thought it was a good idea to spend so much fucking time on the lesbian daughters girlfriend who everyone hated, while ignoring the one daughter completely.

hell, ive seen some games labelled as VN while having only a few "choices" similar to those from your example...

Probably simply because everyone (aside from Paisy, SS subs are some hardcore perverts) voted her their favorite character. Want most people to love your cartoon = make a well-rendered slutty redhead that's bi (it's no coincidence Kayleigh has a twin in this one), since most AVN readers are a simple bunch and just wanna fap to some hot naked cartoons with a bit of context added.
