There's been two new articles from Expiacion. They finished their port/remake of SL2 to the same version of RPGMaker as SL5 but have run into the problem of not being able to put it up for sale because ports aren't allowed on DLsite without significantly adding CG, audio, or adding heavy additional content. CG doesn't fit what they do and isn't affordable, audio wouldn't work for them on RPGMaker and also isn't affordable, and they are unwilling to do a DLC because they feel that doing a DLC would make the game easier to unencrypt and steal assets from. They also don't have the time or willingness to do new content on release because the remake/port in the first place was just a side project they'd done when they had time since they aren't a full-time game dev.

Btw, they also said they dislike translation efforts as an aside when talking about the "makes the data open" and don't care about getting the game in Korean, Chinese, English, etc; because that's "data modification" in their eyes and they consider data modification even for translation to be an illegal breach of their copyright under Japanese law. So yeah, if you guys are ever the type to try to give your handmade translations to devs for them to use, don't bother with Expiacion. They'll likely just get angry at you.

They also released a family tree image connecting how various characters are related from SL1-5. Double lines means the two connected people are the ancestors or parents of the people with a single line connecting them. The numbers below the sprite are what game they're from.

Nothing surprising, japanese devs are known for being pretty dumb and really ignorant when it comes to modding and fan-translations, even to the point of comparing it to piracy, even modifying your save count as piracy to them. It's a mentality that has been changing along the years with the new generations but, Expiacion is an old-fashioned square-minded developer.

God dammit.
Too bad, I guess I'll like his games without approving of his stance then. Bought them all.

Well if you ever feel like playing SL2 again, Expiacion has given up on trying to make the port to Ace a separate listing and has just added it to the regular SL2 download as an "update." You should be able to download both the old version and the VX Ace version now from DLsite according to their ci-en, though it's only QoL changes.

Can someone tell me how to get the true end in SL5
From what I remember someone posting, clear Rid's route, clear Antera's route, on 3rd playthrough raise affection for both of them, there's no ending for Rid + Antera, so once you get scenes where Ed fucks em both at once, you should be on the right track.

Can you share some guide how to get it. I've been playing this game for 2 years and still don't get it

The thing that puts you on to the path is the choice of who to go for to help the MC calm down and stop burning himself out from his curse/power while alone in his room in the mansion. In a normal playthrough, you'll see a choice to seek out Antera and a choice to seek out Ridley - with the scene having variations depending on which or if both or neither of the girls have been NTR'd. If you've gotten both of their love endings, a third choice will appear wherein MC remembers the blonde princess's (I think she was a princess?) advice from earlier about needing to focus on love to center himself. That third choice is what locks you on to the true ending where MC gets with both love interests + the blonde princess and possible optional girls.

Does anyone know what software or graphics pack might have been used to create the main cast's portraits? I don't think it's any vanilla RPGM.

On that latest rating from SparkCarrot, it does have pixel art. Did you only go through the gallery? The pixel art is seen in the game itself (not in scenes), so long as you don't turn on the setting that blacks out rooms where it's happening. That is on the NTR routes though, so if you were a Love-only player then yeah there's no pixel art.

The rest of the rating is fair enough. It's definitely not a game to play if you were only looking for quick sexiness.

Well, when i started the game i said yes to everything, first option on everything but when asked about the NTR, i choose hell mode, so i wouldn't fall in the romance route for accident. I played all i could. Maybe for accident i turn on the option to turn black out, but i don't undertand how if i choosen hell mode from start, also, everything in the game take to long to start.
Edit
When to the gallery and turn on the option, but still gallery don't show anything, so probably i miss that forever. I wouldn't say i was here for a quick, actually i like the slow burn and grinding is not problem for me, but fate black events are a not go.

As I said, the pixel art isn't found in the gallery. The NTR pixel art is found while exploring the world itself so long as you have the option set during the New Game start that doesn't black out the rooms where it's happening. You aren't going to see them looking only at the gallery. I'm pretty sure I even remember the Ulmf thread for this game having a save and .txt file for which pixel art scenes each save is for that are right as the pixel art scenes start.

I choose hell mode, and i normally play in normal mode, also in gallery there is the option to ot black out the rooms, so i would recommend to turn it on. Now a few things, i turn in on after the slime fight, then i didn't lose a fight so i don't know is defeat battles had a pixel animation.
You see the first cheating pixel art animation after the pink hair girl is rescued a second time by the commander. Ater putting like 15 hours into the game, a boring missionary one than you can't repeat or is in the gallery. Everything else is black out, even the first handjob is blackout. This game is not rewarding at all.

I saw two of then already, but still are not worth at all, and not having then in the gallery but only narrated ones, is like the worst design decision ever, like the game is constantly avoiding any kind of fun or reward you could get.
