Virus was detected during download on multiple links. Could be a false positive, but won't be taking any chances
Hey, BaasB Why are you putting those viruses in there? My build was clean.Virus was detected during download on multiple links. Could be a false positive, but won't be taking any chances
It sounded like a disappointment that this wasn't a traditional Patreon scam.already complete?
that was quick this usually takes years... if ever
Same problem, same response here. I was waiting to see if anyone else encountered the problem.Virus was detected during download on multiple links. Could be a false positive, but won't be taking any chances
What is "Steam" version? Everything is Steam here.Steam version works fine, DocRipper upload crashes
did you try virustotal? i placed the file there and it seemed to be clear for me. So it really might just be a false positiveVirus was detected during download on multiple links. Could be a false positive, but won't be taking any chances
Yes I think the original goldberg emu method as its not maintained anymore only works on older games, and for me it didn't work but the gbe_fork by Detanup01 version did.Guys.. lot of words and no action. It's just Steam(DRM)...Nothing new.
Spirit Valley v1.4.0
ZomZomu +1 Smart dude.
Maybe fork is better. Original Goldberg is pretty outdated.
I tried this version of fix and it did work, thank you.I found an easy way
1) download the attachment and place it in
X:\Spirit.Valley.Build.19545938.Win64.Public\steamapps\common\Spirit Valley
or
2) create text file, rename it to "steam_appid.txt" copy and paste the App ID ---> 2649480 into the text file and place the file into
X:\Spirit.Valley.Build.19545938.Win64.Public\steamapps\common\Spirit Valley
(App ID could be found on steamdb.info)
-"Files are big, viruses are small"Guys be careful I think the virus it's in the steam_api64.dll the file it's too big for comfort, I've never seen a steam cracked .dll of 7MB.
I sent it to virus total to check it, it looks safe at first but it does a lot of internet traffic that I don't trust I'm no expert but with 7MB it could do all kinds of code injection and download all kind of nasty stuff.
I compared it to another cracked .dll for unity games from codex and that file is only 400KB
Here are the virus total links of both files if you want to have a look:You must be registered to see the linksandYou must be registered to see the links
You're right, I saw the gbe_fork on github and the .dll files are pretty big, I have no idea why but if I would have to guess it's maybe because they try to emulate steam instead of bypassing it.-"Files are big, viruses are small"
Apparently I'm not a good attacker.
Seriously. That's gbe_fork. The original Golberg EMU doesn't work anymore and is no longer updated, so I tried this fork. That's the whole story. There's nothing else there. You can find it on github. Feel free to find it and try it, scan it. But it's strange that it's this big, I don't know what's inside..
Moreover, speaking of CODEX. Have you tried it? It's also out of the scene and emu hasn't been updated for a long time.
But I assume that if the F95 uploader/mod gave it the green light, they're OK with it.
Funny how this situation keeps repeating.

Hmm..That would make sense. Good old emulation and AVs are not happy about it.You're right, I saw the gbe_fork on github and the .dll files are pretty big, I have no idea why but if I would have to guess it's maybe because they try to emulate steam instead of bypassing it.
I tend to trust scene release more than github forks. Maybe they will soon release it since the game has launched.
I used the codex dll on another unity game and it worked, didn't try it with this game. Instead I swapped the emu dll with the one I had from a previous version of this game (maybe two versions ago) and it works.
If someone wants to try it I'm attaching it or when in doubt better wait for scene release.
