Virus was detected during download on multiple links. Could be a false positive, but won't be taking any chances
Hey, BaasB Why are you putting those viruses in there? My build was clean.:HideThePain:

I'm tired of this shit.. Proof or silence. It's probably a false positive, after all it's cracked, so it can be detected. You know where you are.

You can use sandbox or VM. You know, some condom..;)

already complete?
that was quick this usually takes years... if ever
It sounded like a disappointment that this wasn't a traditional Patreon scam. :KEK:
They have a steady pace and plans.. and good games so far.

Near the end of the game when you go into a portal the screen fades to black and stays black for me. Not sure what to do other than wait for a patch.

Guys.. lot of words and no action. It's just Steam(DRM)...:) Nothing new.

Spirit Valley v1.4.0

ZomZomu +1 Smart dude.
Maybe fork is better. Original Goldberg is pretty outdated.
Yes I think the original goldberg emu method as its not maintained anymore only works on older games, and for me it didn't work but the gbe_fork by Detanup01 version did.
I found an easy way
1) download the attachment and place it in
X:\Spirit.Valley.Build.19545938.Win64.Public\steamapps\common\Spirit Valley
or
2) create text file, rename it to "steam_appid.txt" copy and paste the App ID ---> 2649480 into the text file and place the file into
X:\Spirit.Valley.Build.19545938.Win64.Public\steamapps\common\Spirit Valley
(App ID could be found on steamdb.info)
I tried this version of fix and it did work, thank you.
sorry I wan't sure if uploading files by newbies was against the rules or something so I didn't D:

Guys be careful I think the virus it's in the steam_api64.dll the file it's too big for comfort, I've never seen a steam cracked .dll of 7MB.
I sent it to virus total to check it, it looks safe at first but it does a lot of internet traffic that I don't trust I'm no expert but with 7MB it could do all kinds of code injection and download all kind of nasty stuff.
I compared it to another cracked .dll for unity games from codex and that file is only 400KB

Here are the virus total links of both files if you want to have a look: and

Apparently I'm not a good attacker.:HideThePain:

Seriously. That's gbe_fork. The original Golberg EMU doesn't work anymore and is no longer updated, so I tried this fork. That's the whole story. There's nothing else there. You can find it on github. Feel free to find it and try it, scan it. But it's strange that it's this big, I don't know what's inside..
Moreover, speaking of CODEX. Have you tried it? It's also out of the scene and emu hasn't been updated for a long time.

But I assume that if the F95 uploader/mod gave it the green light, they're OK with it.

Funny how this situation keeps repeating.

You're right, I saw the gbe_fork on github and the .dll files are pretty big, I have no idea why but if I would have to guess it's maybe because they try to emulate steam instead of bypassing it.

I tend to trust scene release more than github forks. Maybe they will soon release it since the game has launched.

I used the codex dll on another unity game and it worked, didn't try it with this game. Instead I swapped the emu dll with the one I had from a previous version of this game (maybe two versions ago) and it works.

If someone wants to try it I'm attaching it or when in doubt better wait for scene release.

Hmm..That would make sense. Good old emulation and AVs are not happy about it.

You're probably right that it would be better stick with original solution if it still works without problems.
I'll make a new repack.

Eh. Funny thing. I saw it on Skidrow and used Pixeldrain link to explore what's inside...and guess what...7MB steam api. Where did they get that, huh?:D

Guys it's like Mr.H posted earlier in the thread, literally ALL you have to do is download any of the game files provided by SuperTitanX96:

PIXELDRAIN: Spirit Valley [Win64] [Branch: Public] (Clean Steam Files)

Unzip it using the password: cs.rin.ru

Then in the game's folder X:\Spirit.Valley.Build.19545938.Win64.Public\steamapps\common\Spirit Valley
Put a .txt file named "steam_appid.txt" with just the number 2649480 inside it.

Close Steam if you're running it, then run Spirit Valley's exe.
Easy as pie.

So link updated, reported, it looks like OP is updated too. Any feedback? I hope there won't be any more posts about virus. :HideThePain:
