So is the version in the OP more recent compared to the steam version?

It's only a side project, I haven't progressed much with it. (not past the first area at least.)
However the regex will work for the entire game.

I read stuff (animations, etc.) was removed when they switched to Unity. How much is missing? Is there an older build somewhere?

If I'm not wrong there was a version (like beta stuff that had a little of that missing content) you can search it on the forum, I forgot where it was .-. (Don't really know if the actual version had catch up to that content tho)
It is my understanding that the Unity version here that is the current iteration came about because they opened a Patreon account, and because they wanted to sell on Steam. As a result they had to get rid of the loli aspect and the incest references. So, all the loli images and animations have been redesigned so they are of an age of consent. Many of the references to incest have been removed, though some of the dialogue the MC still refers to the girls he is living with as 'sister'. The game, frankly, needs a LOT of cleanup. (The younger sister has four or five different spellings for her name for instance.)
Steam has a Demo version for free. I have played the Demo, and if I recall correctly, it doesn't play the same as what you can find in this thread.

i could say the current is already had more than the rpgm version (previous beta version with more interesting combat system, gameplay mechanic, and previous storyline also animation) and actually what you said missing wasnt true, its just re-animated to what steam see could fit (no loli). the animation had more variation on current version that available on this thread since i've played the rpgm version where the language only korean, on rpgm version they had like scene that involve doll quest and in the bathroom
on current version on this thread they had more animation right, like treehouse, lemonade stand and the map had more location to visit
im pretty sure if you search on this thread there is someone who shared the rpgm version
I think you need to use the peephole in the attic to spy on Rori. Then the story will progress from there.
I'm at the same spot and tried the peephole several times, as well as inviting her to bed and nothing has happened for about a week now. Do you think grabbing her panties from her room broke it cuz I did that as well without being told to.
EDIT: I figured it out! You need to go to the kitchen in the morning (at least I went in the morning) and it'll start a cutscene with missy to continue the quest. (Also was the beginning of Summer, but idk if that has any impact or not.)

no, the peephole is gonna be needed for further quest, but your current quest, Sucky should be lying around on the attic, pick it up
Hey friends, but I just wanna ask for some help on finding the ‘save’ folder (or whatever it’s named under) in the game files to add this in? I swear I’ve looked through everything but I can’t find it
There is no save folder in the game files. It's in the separate location I mentioned in my post
