I have never seen an image from them without a watermarkAnybody got this ,but unwatermarked ?? View attachment 4252438
I just assume the ones sharing here aren't on the $16 or $29 sub?Anybody got this ,but unwatermarked ?? View attachment 4252438
You don't need to sub to her monthly, the Holy tier Discord is only updated once or twice monthly. Voting is useless since her userbase and fans are all in on FF7 and if you hate watermarks even if you sub then just sub once or twice a year. Her stuff is overpriced imo and on higher tiers she's overtly paranoid about leakers to the point she may as well ask for your actual personal/work email.I feel played because as much as i was supporting her patreon and such, now i have to pay more to have access to pictures i was able to see before... This is a bummer tbh
Too dangerous for leakers, you literally have to go out of your way to pay for the Holy Tier and expose your Discord credentials.I wish her Discord server are accessible thru K website
Here, a little late and nor perfect but better than nothing... (Look the attachement at the end of the post)Anybody got this ,but unwatermarked ?? View attachment 4252438
Here, a little late and nor perfect but better than nothing... (Look the attachement at the end of the post)
I don’t understand the situation with them, I don't think there's anything 'dangerous' ?
From what I've heard, they don't know who leaked the information (and honestly, it's unlikely they'll ever find out), so they can only make some assumptions. (for exemple if the guy leaked everything the day he subbed then left carellessly ? he could have waited a few weeks before posting online... )
Even if people share their Discord credentials or identity with them, what can they do? Nothing, really. At most, they might ban him and remove his access to the MEGA link and Patreon account. But I'm not even sure that's enforceable, depending on Patreon's terms of service (if someone pays for a subscription, they should have access to everything it grants until the end).
You have to understand that they're creating renders with characters that aren't theirs - none of those characters are their property, and they don't have any rights or deals that would allow them to use them commercially. And to make matters worse, they're allegedly using assets from other games in their work...
So can they claim ownership of their renders? I don’t think so, and going after copyrights wouldn't even be possible. This will boomerang back on them
If they try to prevent leaks (by adding watermarks, restricting access, or increasing prices), it's unlikely to do them any good, it will only harm customers and leakers will ALWAYS have a way to save and post everything online. They don't have the power to go after leakers, and if they try to take legal action or go to court that would only draw unwanted attention from authorities on them. Moreover, if they were to take action against someone for leaking their work, they could end up in trouble with the companies that own those characters - especially Nintendo, which is notoriously protective of its IP. And trust me you don’t want that. So at the end they are probably the only one in trouble if they try to take legal action...
Furthermore, I think they're based in Europe (Germany), so GDPR applies. This means they can't record personal info without consent, and users have the right to know what's being done with their data, opt-out, or delete it altogether. So they'd better be careful not to do anything privacy invasive or reckless with people's identities, or things could get ugly for them fast.
They have nothing to win, everything to loose (Loose subscribers, Legal action against them, Patreon deleted – this is their primary income I believe so they can’t really afford that – and so on)
I don’t know what they do I’m not a customer but you shouldn’t be scared and never accept to share personnal info if you’re not confortable (even if like I said they can’t do anything with them, but you could take them to court and win if they try to use them – even ruin their business in the process -)
TL;DR:
• They can't punish leakers (and might even be liable for scamming or violating Patreon's ToS if someone pays for access and they remove it during an active subscription)
• They can't take legal action against the leaker (since they don't own the characters and their actions are likely copyright-infringing)
• They can't record personal info without consent (GDPR)
• Calling out leakers is pointless and could be considered harassment
• And do on we could go all day…
Or am I crazy and saying nonsense ?
