Thanks. I done goofed on the transfer.
Yeah, I don't know what happened in your case, but I've been having some trouble lately uploading and downloading pics from here.
For starters, they all come in the avif format now, which is a pain and then I have to convert them into JPG or PNG. The high resolution pic I uploaded was JPG on my computer, but now if you download it it's AVIF again.
Some other times the uploads fail the first couple of times and I have to retry until I manage to complete it.

Yea, that was a change early this year to the image upload protocols, then they upgraded their storage capacity, and I think there was problems just before they did that. Still reduced images-per-post, sadly.

Yeah Since the tech things they did pics fail to upload from time to time for me. Jpeg usually uploads fine but others like png sometimes throw up an error. A couple times I had to convert from jpeg to something else then back to jpeg. Of course you tend to lose quality converting to jpeg.

I just tried to download then reupload your image(png) just now and got the "the uploaded file was not a picture as expected" error.

Another good one bites the dust . Not too surprising, one update a year usually just isn't enough to get people excited about giving financial support. Personally, I'm finding it harder and harder to even stay interested in playing games that only get one or two updates a year.
Do you really expect that devs who barely make any income per month work full-time on a game? That is the reason devs are quitting today, because of people like you. Dude, complain if the dev makes a ton of money and uploads little content, but not when they barely earn any income. There are a lot of developers who upload quality content very often and starve.
It's so stupid, your mentality; you literally are pro-slavery.

I think the dev made it clear that this is a hobby project for him. Patreon is not a motivation and everything on his Patreon is freely available. So the lack of popularity doesn't have anything to do with subscriber counts. That's a symptom, not the cause.

I think the problem is the very slow pace of communication. He posts a lot of non-canon special renders, but actual status updates come maybe every 3 or 4 months. So there just hasn't been much excitement for this game despite the dev clearly having some real talent. I mean we've been on page 20 since January lol. There's just been virtually nothing to talk about.

Speaking of status updates, There was a status update back in April that didn't get posted here.
Looks like there's a new intro video and they're planning on reworking Episode 1. yay... :HideThePain:

=====================================================

April 13

Hey everyone,

We’re back with another progress update, and we’re happy to say things are moving forward steadily. We’re not quite at the finish line yet, but the pieces are falling into place, and every day brings us closer to the next release.

Today, we’re excited to show off something new—the redone intro animation! We decided to remake it because we changed the model used for the ship, and we wanted the intro to reflect that. The updated visuals give a better sense of the tone and quality we’re aiming for moving forward.

This updated intro is part of a larger plan. Eventually, we’ll be completely redoing Episode 1. That means a new plot structure, new renders, and updated animations. The story has grown and evolved since the first release, and we want Episode 1 to reflect the same level of polish and depth as the rest of the series. This full Episode 1 remake is something we’re planning for closer to the end of Season 1. Right now, the main focus is getting more new episodes out to you.

We’re still working and making progress on Episode 3, which is about 80% complete. As we mentioned before, life and tech challenges have slowed us down, but we’re doing our best to stay focused and get things done. We’ll also be including some requested quality of life features in the upcoming update, like side rollback and the persistent ren'py menu, among others. If there are any additional improvements you'd like to see, especially if you're one of our patrons, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. We’re always listening and eager to make the experience even better. Thank you again for your continued support and patience.

Stay tuned—more updates are coming soon!

Bit much on the slavery part...fact is that many of the developers do it for themselves and the community. Sure getting a game free and complaining is an asshole move, but if we talk about facts and what is happening, without pretense and bullshit, then yes, an update a year is a long time to wait. It does not look good and anyone who supports per month is gonna end up forking out for a good amount of time before seeing anything for it.

While I am also one to say be grateful for free shit, each person is allowed their opinion, and hopefully those are based on facts and not speculation or general bullshit rhetoric.

"One update per year." Dude, we are talking about devs who do not work on this "full time." You can't expect loads of content when a dev barely makes less than 200 dollars per month... I really don't understand your mentality. You want badik levels of content with small devs who are starving.

While I'm not familiar with this dev, I am constantly reminding my followers I don't do this Full Time or Part Time. I do it SPARE Time. Would I like that to change? Sure. But that's 100% on me. I've missed every single deadline I've posted to date, but I refuse to get worked up by people who wouldn't support my work even if someone else gave them the $. If this dev is anything like me, shouting into the Abyss may not yield the results you were expecting, ESPECIALLY on a pirate site. JMO

I don't get it, these developers do it in their free time so they work in their normal day to day job, at least a bunch of them do. Saying that they starving because of it is just BS and you blowing this out of proportion more than it needs to be. No one says pirating or playing the games and bitching without supporting is a good thing. I already said I personally don't condone it, but you going a bit overboard here in your statement.

I reiterate. FACT: No one likes waiting a year or more for a game update, less so if you supporting the developer, but that does not change the fact that you allowed to voice your opinion on an open platform, stating what you think, as long as you doing it respectfully and without being a total dick, then I would say its fine.

FACT: A developer who can solely sits and builds VNs or other games to make a living would be probably having a hard time making decent money, but I would imagine has more time to churn out content than those working full time. So it kinda stands to reason to support the dude who is slogging at the game with no other income, but least you should be getting decent and probably regular updates.

Nway, my just my 2c. I have loads of respect for developers doing this stuff, building a story and telling it well, plus the added visuals, its a bit of work and you need to be creative. If you can support a developer that you can appreciate their work for, then do it.
