The early game books aren't really worth reading, although you might consider giving them to your companions.
I see gotcha. Also when i went to hunt the orc (bounty) i found the advanced magic book (+2 matk) is that also not worth reading, cause it's asking me to read the basic magic theory book first?

From a min-max perspective probably best to give both magic books to Charlotte, although its not a game breaker if you choose to read them.

I have a couple of question for those who've been playing this, I just started this game, and it's only been day 8, the books that you can buy from the shop, are they worth reading through and wasting an entire day? And if so, does days passing affect the story negatively besides the whole increase in corruption & lewdness?
Like you say: days passing increase corruption and lewdness, it's the core mechanics of the game.

There are other differences. For example, there's an event, the Festival of Greed, that happens after the first few quests have been done: you actually choose when it happens, based on how long it takes you to do the initial quests (and doing those quests depends how fast you grow strong enough to do them, which itself depends on the difficulty setting you chose, what stats you increased, what skills you pay to learn, etc.). This Festival of Greed is directly followed by a small aftermath, with some NPC's giving you some rewards (money, items, etc.); those rewards will be marginally better if the Festival of Greed happens early enough (before Day 20? can't remember), but the key word here is «marginally».

Similarly, after Day 100, some bosses regain their strength and become more difficult to beat – although if you unleash the full power of Star Knightess, beating them is trivial.

So if you're trying for some absolutely optimal bad-ass play-through, absolutely every day counts. But if you're just playing to have fun, it's OK to lose some time too.

Like the other guy answered to you, those very first «normal» books at the start of the game may have more value if you gift them to your companions, but it's for you to decide: no choice in this game is objectively bad for all players and all play-throughs, every choice has pros and cons

That clears up quite alot of my concerns. Thank you.

There are several small rewards dependable on Festival of Greed timing but with different time requirements. If it's faster than 20 days - you collect all of them. If it's more than 20 days but less than 30 - your reward would be without one vitality potion etc. After day 50 there is no such rewards, only constant ones

AFAIK reading a book does not "waste an entire day", it just ends the day.

That means you can do whatever you want during the day and then just end the day by reading a book.

You also might want to hang onto them until you get the Reading Proficiency book. At that point they become a one day read that you can do at the end of the day to get some decent power bumps.

As someone close to the main game designer, I have a question for you: are there any prequels planned for SK? For example, to tell the story of the struggle with the 3 previous kings and the beginning of the whole story of this confrontation? I know that you are currently developing a smaller-scale project about Contracts for the next couple of years, but have there been any discussions about the further development of the SK universe?
Apologies for the delay in responding to this. We have no current plans for any other games set in Roya itself, but Liora's still in early stages and we don't have any concrete concepts for the flagship game that'll follow it, so anything is possible.

Can mc dress like gyaru even on pure playthrough?
Nope. The gyaru outfit comes as part of making many many mental changes.

You can get her to dress up as a gyaru and still get the good ending, though, as long as you don't make the last mental change that causes the corrupt end to trigger.

This game doest have set "routes" like a lot of other games you might be thinking. You accumulate "corruption" over time and via certain actions in game and can spend it on individual changes. So you CAN be pure, corrupt, or anywhere in between, it isnt locked in at any point. Can't undo any changes you do make though

Unfortunately, Aura has to have her nerdy interests replaced with more fashion focused ones for her to be willing to change into her sexier outfits. It is a bit tough to explain without going into way too much detail.

I followed this game's development for a long time and early on I decided to purchase it whenever it was done. I did that and played it in its completed form. I really enjoyed the sexual corruption of the fictional hero but was not into the other types of corruption. Still, I had fun playing it and I think it is a very well made game if you are into these kinks or want to try surviving with minimal corruption.

I got a few more questions. How do i increase the workshop's level and when i go to the magic shop to buy a spell it says you need money and a 'Promise', what does that mean?

You increase workshop level by selling star metal to the smith, which you find in some caves as a minable resource. As for the magic shop, you obviously need to pay and the promise means that you need to dedicate the whole next day to doing only that. If you've already promised someone else you'll work (at the workshop for example) then you cannot make another promise until you're free.
