After playing through the new maid content once on an old save I've just started up a hidden Alicia mode run, but I have a few things I'm curious about.
Is it possible to actually clear the festival of greed on the Arwin path? It feels like it is, but I figure it doesn't hurt to double check before diving into it too much.
Does hidden Alicia mode favor picking the alternate outfits if you meet the requirements for them? I'm mostly just hoping to see them on a playthrough. Also, how does this mode handle the key memories room? I feel like not seeing what Alicia is doing in those scenes will take away from the experience and be a bit confusing.
1. You can clear the Festival as Arwin's maid but you need to be watchful of the Willpower check. Pressing the Resist Arwin choices during the lewd scenes makes it fairly straightforward, not doing so makes it difficult. There is a very powerful buff effect (free VIP Pass) if you get 100 Maid Performance but getting there makes the willpower check very hard to pass and potentially impossible if you have too many other modifiers going on as well.
2. Yes, but it's not guaranteed as Alicia is implemented with a simple weighted probablistic model. They have extra weight but the probability of them not being picked isn't 0.
3. The changes in the key memories room is indeed confusing. I was contemplating showing them as dreams but the current player census has been to maximize the hiding effect. So I will need to first survey player responses to get a feel on whether it's confusing or if the reacting Earth scenes still make sense.

I was pretty sure it was possible, but I'd done it on a high corruption playthrough, so Aura didn't succeed the check even though I'd had enough WP to not be suffering from curse. I usually keep a decent number of rolling saves, so I guess I will backtrack a bit if she ends up picking her normal outfits. I've kept on playing since my last post and have been enjoying the new mode so far.
I was thinking Aura could have a dream trigger every so often and that each normal memory could be played (possibly without Alicia, although it could work well either way) once during the game to add a bit more content to high purity runs. The modified versions could be added to the queue of dreams once it was appropriate. It wouldn't need to be exclusive to hidden Alicia mode, and it would also mean you can't overlook Aura's changing library club memories. Even if that's not how you'd implement it, I still think dreams would get my vote.

I just got through the Festival of Greed so does anyone know any way to get through the volcano area without taking too much damage. And the same goes for the underwater section too, how do i get more air (time)?
Is there anyway to get Spells & Skills without wasting 2 days? And someone said something about a Reading Proficiency book to decrease the amount of time it takes to read books, when or where do i find it?
And also what is up with those hobgoblin's health, I seriously did not expect that the intermediate quests to be that much harder.

Learn and activate relevant skills. Water Skin (I or II) for volcano area, Air Bubble from Air Slime for underwater areas. Slime IIRC learned it for free either right away or at certain level. Consult wiki for more accurate information.
If you start a NG+, you can use points to learn some of those time consuming skills.
Otherwise, for certain skills, you may find a trainer later that teaches it faster or cheaper. After Festival, check both guild houses and talk to people, IIRC there should be someone at one of them who is grateful to you for saving them or smth.

The schedule as of the July's project plan was for both the non-beta release of Star Knightess Aura 1.1 and Liora's 0.1 release to be on the last Friday of August. That's when Aura-dev expected Liora to be in a "minimum viable product" state. The game is supposed to be on itch at that point. Also available to wishlist on steam if you want to support the game through steam.

Liora won't be available on steam at that point, there will only be a steam page with the ability to wishlist it.
I saw that the game is completed but also there was an update last week. Are there still new contents to be added? I rather play a completed game, would it be better to wait till its finished or is it good to jump in now? I also read its grindy so i’m not sure if its recommended to restart each update?

The game story is done. What's currently being worked on is a potential bad end Separate from the primary "good" and "bad" ends called the "maid" end. You can absolutely start playing now. There is a risk that if you play now you.may get ahead of the branch point for the maid end. But you need multiple runs to see all the content in either case so it shouldnt be a big issue.

The Maid Bad end is actually attached to Arwin and the festival I believe. You need to have finished his maid training and have enough maid score to fail the will check in your fight against him. (If I understood the logs correctly, as I haven't yet played that content yet)
That is correct, the new full maid ending is from a new sub-route where you enter the Festival as Arwin's maid (as oppose to finding a suitor between two traders) and select all the obvious corruption choices when being trained by Arwin. The only thing Maid Mansion quest does is unlock a little epilogue if Aura reached 60+ training score.
