Any completed saves? I'm on day 40something and at the end of my tether.
I have early game quest active but the clues are so obscure, I don't want to wander lost around the same maps hoping to trigger some event. I looked at a guide to find 4 pieces of paper (after finding one) and it was so obscure on where to look. I can't unlock any events and when I reach end of day the progress just slides along with no story progression, I suspect I'll be softlocked until corruption reaches some kind of game over.

Well you can't exactly be softlocked in the mental world, that early at least, so you've just missed some mental change. Happens to a lot of noobs.

Is anyone else getting this weird text / font bug with the release of 1.1.1?
I uninstalled the game and the old uncensor patch, then reinstalled the game and applied the new uncensor patch for 1.1.1, but this glitch still happens on random words. If I reload the text (by going to the Backlog or options menu) the text is fixed.
If I restart the game, the text is fixed, although it happens again later on a different random word.

The problem with that is content creep, SKA has only one writer. Take Claire's Quest for example: started with mostly straight scenes, but gradually expanded to futa, zoophilia, lesbian scenes... (this happens A LOT) now if a person doesn't like most of that, usually they have to wait months if not years to get new content. As someone who mostly only like female pov straight content, the amount of games that I basically abandoned because of that is sad. I know that it's what many people want, but I'm glad we have at least a few female protagonist games that are not a lesbian fest.
They could make it optional!

So, in other words: Avoidable!

I like some of the art and some of the scenarios in the game, but it is overall a game I hope the author takes many lessons from, because actual corruption games are quite rare/fun. And this game suffers from:

1. Very linear corruption, while the game tries to present it as being more open-ended. It would have been theoretically possible to design the game to be more flexible, such that you could change different parts of Aura's psyche at different times and have the game's story adapt - but implementing this in RPGMaker would require a ridiculous amount of organizational skill and finesse. It's pretty hard to do well, so it was doomed from the start.
2. Quite a number of ways to get to a "dead state" where days pass and pass in the mental world, while the real world story stagnates, and nothing feels like it's "happening", since various cutscenes get triggered by making deliberate changes in the mental world. The pacing gets messed up. There are virtually no random ambient story events to break up the tedium, either.
3. The main character is difficult to review. I like her and I hate her. I think, maybe, you should hate the main character in a corruption game? Because you ultimately want them to become corrupted, I suppose? But then there's no real tension in the game's story or gameplay? And if the antagonists are unlikable, you're left in a very bad state...

So I think, you do want to like the character and to want to resist the corruption? But it's also not like the game really even gives you much opportunity to "resist" the corruption. And the way it's presented removes Aura's agency - she doesn't choose to make bad decisions, she's unconsciously mind controlled into doing them. While I think elements of that can be interesting to explore, there's way too much of that.
4. Richard is just a weird antagonist. All the antagonists are a little too..."sophmore"? I get that they're literally in "high school setting" so to speak, but it gives me "Disney Channel Villain Vibes" which isn't exactly what I want in a hentai game? lol.

To properly represent a story about the slow moral decay of a character, I can't point to a single game that has ever done it well with pure game mechanics (though I think there does exist a way to do it). This game tries to make you build up corruption mechanically to solve "impossible problems" which is interesting, but ultimately is a detriment to the game's actual gameplay? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

The game's story really struggles in places. Which is fine. This is an indie title. But I feel like for a corruption game to be good, you have to achieve a certain minimum level of art + story + mechanics. If you have really good art - that's not enough. If you have a really good story, that can compensate, but you need some mechanics to drag out the tension in the game's story. This game is just lacking some minimum bar in all three for me. I think most people won't finish this game.

Very interesting review. I agree with many if not all of the points in here. I am curious if you finished the game. I am still playing it because the art is nice, the actual gameplay with the fights is kind of cool and because there really aren't many good corruption games out there. But your point 1 is the most annoying for me at the moment. I want to corrupt here but maybe I don't want to change everything about her. Sucks for me as that is not happening. There are also a lot of words in the mental world that are just lies. Like changing her interests, it says let the frustration build up to add more hate points but it doesn't build up. You need to make more changes. You actually need to make all the changes, or you are just stuck. So it is just linear progression (you can have a few changes at the same time, so a little parallelism, but that's it).

It's also sometimes happening to text on the menu after you move maps and talk to someone.
I redownloaded 1.0.6 to test that out and the issue doesn't come up there, only in 1.1.1.
EDIT: Had to do with my iGPU messing up, switched to my gaming gpu until Intel sort their stuff out.

Yeah, I didn't finish the game. I got to the hypnosis maid stuff, which is "deep" into the game I guess, but it was also the main fetish I was curious about. And it didn't really resonate with me. Celesphonia and others have done it a little better.

You mean in the first town? Before the festival? I don't think that is deep into the game at all if that's what you are referring to. I just passed that and that means in the equivalent mental world you just about pass the first room, and there are at least 2 more chambers more complicated than the first.
I admit it wasn't well done, did it to get the ending and went back to my save not taking that path. There do appear some more interesting stuff later on (also some real hypnosis down the line) if you are interested to pick it back up.
However my main problem with the game right now is the mental changes system. The more I think about it the more I think it's a missed chance to make something great:
Every change you make resonates with one or more events in the real world. The problem with that is, it means, Alicia always gets it right. Even if sometimes she gets lucky during the events and it wasn't preplanning, any change you have done is enough to get you further along your story. Which means you really don't need to think about the changes at all. You can just do them whenever available. I think there should have been some repeatable, maybe weekly checks, that give you + or - relationships depending on what changes you made. There should also have been a Rose on the case event line where she tries to get to the bottom of things and you have to either be faster with the modifications or incur penalties, or stall her out with some more corruption wasted just to push back on the things she does.
I don't understand why the pure path is the one that is supposed to be the hard path and the corruption path is the easy path in this game and probably other games like this as well. I think it should be the other way around. Isn't the corrupted path the one with most scenes, the one most people want to see? Shouldn't that be the one that makes us work for it? It should be hard for us to makes the mental changes to corrupt her in both lives. To not fail in real life and to allow us to pick the lewd options in Roya. Instead, it takes almost no struggle to choose the lewd stuff in Roya and as I stated above it takes no thinking whatsoever for the mental stuff. Just activate whatever is available. Low on corruption points, just spam the collar and you get more than enough.
The lewd scenes getting better is the one thing keeping me playing at this point and I've started to skip dialogues. Only some side stuff and some of the real life bullshit for now but I think it will get more and more as the story progresses and that is sad.
I hope the game they are working one now is going to take a lot of lessons from this one and be better on all fronts.

is this game just not for me? How can it have 200+ reviews and be so bad an ugly looking
If the art is what you have problems with, or the engine (RPGM) that is what you see before playing. So I imagine anyone like you, that doesn't like that stuff just doesn't play the game and doesn't leave a review.

1. In the vast majority of h-games I have seen or played even across genres, the "corruption path" is far easier than the "pure path", it's just the norm.
2. I appreciate that you think that higher difficulty should be rewarded with H content, because this site is full of people complaining about the exact opposite, who cry if games dare contain any gameplay whatsoever.
BUT 3. That really wouldn't work here given the basic premise of controlling a non-lewd female protagonist. For your ideas to work this would need to be a totally different genre where you just control some Alicia equivalent corruptor and Aura is an npc or something.

Nah, the main problem with games with heroine corruption is that they have some kind of obsession with this whole puritanical morality thing. Sex is evil! Sex is a Satanic invention! Repent of your sin! Lack of virginity is the absence of the path to salvation! This shit is seriously annoying. Where's the third ending where the corrupt heroine cuts off the villain's head, hangs it by the nostrils like a disco ball, and throws an orgy in the captured castle of the forces of darkness with a bunch of men, women, monsters, and robots? Sex is good! Damn, it's a porn game, I don't want another church sermon from it! But no! We'll be making endings like this: the heroine got obsessed with sex and now she's doomed! And along with her, her family, her city, and her hamster! Where is the mechanic of corruption = an alternative path to ascension? Where is the path of more sex = more power? There are very few games with anything like this. That's the problem.

This isn't even realistic. That is, seriously immoral people traditionally have the advantage over moral people in that they don't have to limit their options in any situation to certain norms they can't violate. Sad but true. And this is a porn game! The heroine isn't obligated to burn down cities or kill people! She just loves sex! And who doesn't?! I mean, the heroine doesn't even need to be a villain for this. Debauchery can be interpreted as broadmindedness, as a shift in priorities in understanding pleasure. The question of good and evil is completely parallel here. So my only wish for such games is - give sex a chance!

But it's in this game. There is such thing in this game as more sex = more power. Look at the book that adds Lewdness to MATK so lewd Aura starts to blast enemies with magic. Or mental change on increasing stats after orgasm. Or just receiving a big sum of money.
And also in this game Aura oculd defeat the main villain and after that go deep into carnal pleasures. Mostly in good endings B but still. There wouldn't be any ruling over forces of darkness but for you the most important part was sexual liberation, wasn't it?

This is misreading the message of the game. It's not that sex is bad, the point of the game is that you shouldn't take shortcuts or the easy way out and should instead think things through. The more shortcuts you take, the stronger you get, however, after a while, those shortcuts wind up being shackles that drag you down. Some shortcuts involve stealing or lying or, yes, the MC using her body to get what she wants, but the common connector is that they are shortcuts that make life easier. They make her life easier, but take shortcuts too often and she can't actually accomplish her goals.
