I get a kick out of reading the reviews sometimes as well. I don't even know what that top one was talking about, tbh: the game doesn't have stock RPG Maker combat (we have several unique plugins that were written specifically for this project that change how mechanics work and add new ones. I should know, I wrote most of them!) and a completely customised UI. I don't think a single part of the interface is default. XD And again, I should know, because I was the mug who had to take the mockups and turn them into actual working systems.
And it's all controllable with the keyboard, mouse has never been a mandatory input vector.
