You know that official release of 1.1.0 won't be the end of development, right?
Then they'll start working on 1.2.0 (with a string of prereleases, as they did for 1.1.0), before they'll officially release that.
And then they'll start working on 1.3.0 (with prereleases, etc.), etc.
They've announced their plans towards an eventual 2.0 release. So don't take that August 29th date as a final-final and ultimate as in end-of-the-world date.
If you're waiting for development to be entirely done on this game before trying it out (I don't know why you would, but you do you), prepare to wait a while...
