Does anyone know how to deal with monsters that have healing skills, like Unicorn or Fire Dragon? I don’t have enough damage to kill them, and the only debuff that gives anti-heal—poison—doesn’t seem to work on them even though I’ve tried it many times

Poison does work on both of them, though the unicorn removes poison when it uses its healing skill. The fire dragon just regenerates so much health per turn (I think its 2500?) that poison can just cut the regen down to 700hp(?) or so. Gotta burst them down, though the unicorn runs out of mana to heal after 4 heals if you keep it debuffed with confusion from the Horror spell.
With the dragon, I managed to get it after poisoning it then using the stone mind+lightning+art of lightning combo with the slime having bloodshot eyes buff and also using lightning. Unicorn can also be burst down, it only heals below half health. If you and slime are faster than it, not too hard to blast it down with fire after acid bomb takes effect.

Poison is actually insanely good against a lot of bosses now that I think of it, there is a reason why getting demon poison is locked behind a high vice decision...

is with arwin, at the begining, you take the opcion of being a maid instead of searching for a merchant, either you loose the will power enought to loose in the conversation or be defeated by arwin

That -1 is for making mental changes, I think you get 1 per 4 mental changes, but also I think it rounds up.

So you can't remove that -1, but since you already got that, you probably could spend some corruption to make a few more with no penalty.

i got it after finishing reverse sommon ritual before that, it was 0. so i was wondering what else can increase it to avoid this mistake again.
Anyway i have to abandon this run since i fcked up with this 1 point or i have to find some ways to get back the save before starting reverse summon ritual

You can also use stasis bombs to apply numb with the slime or another party member, though double thunderbolt is better most of the time. Nice job finishing the game

Yes, he takes them. Not a huge cost, but if you plan on enrolling in Pasciel at some point anyways (you should), you can get access to the caravan for no additional cost.
So I just gift him shit and he does me no actual favor(how does protecting HIS caravan help me?)? Edwin is kinda of a piece of shit himself, ngl.

You get to complete the quest and avoid either needing to take a corrupt action or spending 20,000 gold to enroll at the magic school
I know what the point of doing that is at a meta level, I just think it's a bit silly you are paying to help others when it's the entire point of the mission.

Why are prices in Verdaux weird? Feels like there is 18% or so increase put on them but I'm not sure how to remove it if it's even possible

Do you perhaps have a discount at Trademond instead?

IIRC at least marrying Hermann gave you some kind of a discount there. Maybe there were others as well.

nope, prices in Verdaux have always been weird, initially I thought it was just the "0,99 cents" thing added for flavor, but even the same items you find in Nephlune cost 18% more.
I don't think that has ever gone away in my other run after Claire and Roland died

Well, he wasn't participating in this trade and we are asking him to organize a trade caravan with the risk of losing all of it to bandits. I think his payment is earned.
